This stay was exactly what we were looking for. We came in for a concert and the venue was within walking distance. On site parking made it easy to come and go as we needed. Convenient access to Old Sacramento, highways and downtown. We had a great trip. Thanks for making your home available to us.
This location was close to everything including the freeway! Close to light rail, parks, convenience store. It was extremely friendly for my furry friends. Off-street, gated parking is where the value is! Host was great, responsive.
The place was clean inside and up to date. There are 3 deadbolts to get into the apartment and one did not work well. Also, I banged my head on a TV that was over the desk and moved it to one side. The desk is under a stair and a little awkward to use but functional.

Overall the stay is just okay. The location near Sutter hospital is very good for our purposes. Plus there are a lot of places to eat at if desired. Fortunately, air conditioning was not needed as there is only one window ac available and it's not in the bedroom. Parking is a little cumbersome as the chain needs to be unlocked and parking gate opened by hand, and subsequently closed. I still appreciate the extra security for my car. Regarding the kitchen, the oven could not be light to use, and if it could be, there was no way to gauge the temperature of the oven. So that was very disappointing as I prefer to cook. I would also recommend having oil available for cooking on the stove, rather than just oil spray. Noise from the other tenants in the house is very easy to hear, and this unit is a mere extension/part of the existing home. I could easily hear talking by other tenants as if they were in the next room. Overall my wife and I will probably look for other other option next time.

Kitchen is small, but the rest of the apartment is spacious and clean. Host was great.
Nice in-law unit in a house located in a quiet and nice neighborhood in Sacramento. Was a pleasure to stay here.

Very bad communication from the host. After multiple attempts at trying to get in touch through phone calls, text and via the messaging app to find bedding for the pull out couch( which was advertised as having). He responded at midnight( 4 hours after my last message!) with “there should be some in the closet or laundry room”. As if i didn’t look in every place possible to find sheets. I even included a photo of the empty space in the closet where sheets were supposed to be. No apology or excuse, just one response followed by silence. My kids ended up sleeping with towels as blankets. We also spoke to other guests on the property and they also said he was unresponsive. Another thing to note is the bedroom is separated by a door from the main house which is also a VRBO and you can hear everything the guests are doing. it was extremely loud. So if you’re going to book this place be sure to bring extra sheets, soap and ear plugs. I wont be booking this place again.
Door would not lock. Other tenants fighting at 2am. Water dripping on our faces while we slept. Owner would not reimburse. Very shady. We felt unsafe and left halfway thru stay. Owner would not reimburse. VRBO did pay for a hotel for us. Chain link fence gate to park car. Not nice.

Smallest & worst toaster; no place to sit down to eat; needs a reachable outlet in kitchen; no water pressure in bathroom sink; no hairdryer as advertised; very bad internet (couldn't even download news on laptop); no sound insulation between units--could hear conversations; footsteps; video games? and constant dog barking. Not a good place to stay.
Needed a place to crash for two adults and two teens visiting Sac for a day and going to a show at Golden1 Center. Easy check-in, nice and quiet. Great neighborhood for a morning stroll to coffee.
Good location to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. The space was decent for 3 adults staying there. The only thing to consider is getting AC. We visited Sacramento at a time when it was 90-100F and there was one window unit. The bedroom was extremely uncomfortable.
This property me all my needs. Very comfortable and the owner was courteous and quick to reply. Instructions for entry were straight forward and complete. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.
This Vrbo is a small apartment in the back of a very cute CA Craftsman home.It is centrally located and you can walk anywhere in mid-town Sacramento. It has good WiFi, a small fridge and a microwave which were perfect for my needs. It is an older home 19th century home and has some quirks and challenges which ultimately does not take away from its charm.I look forward to staying there again!
Stayed one night passing through town. The bed was comfy and private parking was secure behind a locked gate. It reminded me of a boarding house or college apartment in its vibe. Basic/ No frills. Upstairs neighbors kept us awake walking and talking. Shared free laundry. Wonky layout. We didn't bother trying to cook anything. Bring your own coffee. (Keurig maker, not drip).
If you’re looking for a beautiful spot look no further than this treasure tucked away in beautiful Sacramento. I wish I got to spend more time in the home to enjoy its offering of peace. I will definitely consider it again if I find myself in the area. Thank you hosts for a safe space.
Place needs a little update/housekeeping. But the owner is very communicative, let me add an extra day up front and reached out immediately when there was an issue. Location great and felt safe. I had to fly out 2 days early so wasnt here very long.
I booked this place for a quick overnight trip in Sacramento. The place can do with a little cleaning. There was food on the pull out bed, strands of hair on the floor and the blinds required some dusting. With all of that said I would stay the night again. The place was in a safe area, plenty of places to eat and everything was a reasonably priced.
