Wonderful Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Anchorage Rentals in Myrtle Beach! It was the perfect spot for our family of four. The condo was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—including beach chairs, kitchen items, and more. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, which was super convenient with kids.The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and communication with the hosts was excellent throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Anchorage Rentals to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly beach getaway!

You could see the ocean from the patio. We highly recommend Brookgreen Gardens. We enjoyed eating at Johnny D's, Magnolias at 26th, Gauchos Brazilian Steakhouse, and River City Cafe. We were wanting a relaxing vacation and that is exactly what we got.

We had a great stay. We had an issue with the air conditioning but someone came out quickly to attend to it. It was fixed but went out again. When we called the second time someone came out a second time and fixed it on July 4! We were very appreciative.

Clean and great location

Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at the condo. On arrival it is obvious how well this place is taken care of. Very clean and great overall space. When though it odd in front of the pool we still didn’t hear too much noise unless we opened the patio door. Kitchen has most everything you’ll need. Location is great, legal 2 minute walk to a very clean family friendly beach across the street. Only negative (I use this word lightly) is that it is advertised as it being able to sleep 6 people, in reality it only sleeps 4…5 if one person sleeps on the sofa (not a pullout). Would defiantly come back if ever in South Carolina again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The couch and recliner in our unit was so old and uncomfortable, the padding was almost gone. I felt like I was sitting on a wood bench. I would suggest ceiling fans in all the rooms. Our unit was not as nice as our other family members units. The floors were very sticky upon our arrival. I had to mop as soon as we unpacked.

We would have been more than happy to come mop again. As far as the condo we will inspect the sofa but believe the owners replaced it just a few years ago and they only rent 12 weeks out of the year. As you know we have other condos and hope you will contact us before making your next reservation to make sure you get something you will enjoy.

Reviewer Comments: We arrived on Saturday afternoon and the pool had electrical wiring issue and had to be closed. Remained closed from Sunday morning through Thursday morning. Requested reimbursement for a portion of our stay due to the pool being closed for 4 out of our 7 days. Did not receive any reimbursement. Kitchen cookware is old and should be replaced. Would not stay again.

Just a few minute drive to Broadway at the Beach and all local and surrounding attractions! This was our second year in a row staying in this particular unit and we would definitely stay again. This year, we did have one issue. Mid-week, on Wednesday night, we noticed the refrigerator wasn't staying cold and items in fridge were going bad. We called the management company, who sent several maintenance people, including "the appliance guy" but no one was able to fix it. We lost what was left of our food and didn't have a refrigerator to use for the remainder of the week. The unit owner was contacted and he replaced the refrigerator after we left and before the next renter came in. He also refunded a portion of our rental for the inconvenience. Overall, was still a great stay, just had a bump in the road this year. Would highly recommend!
