The host was perfect. Rapidly responsive to all inquiries. The cabin was rustic and super comfortable. The HVAC worked great. The lighting in the common room was a bit dim but some higher watt bulbs would likely easily fix that. Everything was super.
The location was really good but I did not know this was the basement of a property. There are lots of steps and a kind of dank smell. Also beware there are windows in the showers to the outside.

Everything was clean despite the property is a little old. The property has 2 units, A and B. The pictures from the profile belongs to the apartment A. We stayed in the apartment B which is bigger with more amenities, but a little old. I would stay there again!
This is a nice property in a good location for exploring Yosemite: basically clean, good kitchen and beds for sleeping. There were 3 maintenance items which we let the manager know need to be addressed and you might inquire if they were prior to your stay: The toilet seat bolt is missing in the common bathroom, so the seat cannot stay on. The disposal is unplugged , therefore not working. A few mice were with us and that also should be addressed. Thank you for a good stay!

We didn't like the amount of towels we were provided with. We requested more and were told more were delivered but they weren't. There was no washer or dryer available. If so, we would have washed our towels. Instead we resorted to reusing them which wasn't pleasant.
The bathroom off of the livingroom had a missing scew on the toilet seat which drove the females guests crazy.
Overall it is a nice property and we would stay there again. They just need to pay more attention to the small details
We paid a premium price for this location - there are limited options if you want to stay inside the park. It is located in the west part of the park, about a half hour drive to Yosemite Valley which saved us a lot of drive time. It was important for us to you to start our hikes early, so we chose a place inside the park. So with that purpose in mind, the place worked out OK. However, the place does not appear as nice as it does in the photos, and our experience was not great either. We arrived at 8 pm to find that the fridge was not working. Management didn't think our perishables needing refrigeration was an emergency, so the best they would do is to send someone out the next day. Luckily the guests upstairs agreed to refrigerate our food. The bathtubs were not properly cleaned either. The neighbors were playing loud music and management said they couldn't do anything about it because it wasn't their property. Overall, if it hadn't been for the prime location and management allowing us one extra hour to check out, I would have given this place 2 stars.
