This place is perfect! The location is excellent. Everything inside is nice and new. It’s a good size condo with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we come back to Angel fire.
The host was easy to work with, the place was nice and worked well for a friend and I to stay. The negatives were the hottub is around the corner from the door, so you have to walk through icy snow to get to it. It is a pretty view and nice size. The steps to enter are unstable and the pavers that make up the patio are buckled, so entering and exiting is tricky. Two units of the heater didn't work making the living room, hall and kitchen very cold (we were there in February). The fireplace is not allowed to be used, but that would have been a nice feature - especially with it being cold inside. We did not want to move locations since we had moved in but that was offered. The ski in, ski out is somewhat accurate. We came when there wasn't sufficient snow to use this but after receiving snow, we tried it. The entrance is down hill and outside the boundary, so you have to go under the boundary rope. Returning is a hike up the hill with your equipment. It worked for us (adults) but it is almost easier to drive to the parking area and take the free shuttle - especially if you have children. However, since it was not very busy due to lack of snow this season, parking and driving were simple. If it's more crowded or roads aren't as cleared, the entrance from the unit might be beneficial. This particular unit is on the lower level - it is a 2-story complex. I recommend renting a unit on the upper floor which is level with the parking lot. Otherwise, you are navigating narrow stairs.
