Intra-coastal waterway is waiting for you at this newly constructed, pet friendly 3-bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex. This fabulous rental features 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full and 2 bunk beds, all on the lower level - perfect for a group getaway. Enjoy the soothing atmosphere of this private property on a cul-de-sac, with fantastic views of the windswept oaks, the intra-coastal waterway, private islands and Emerald Isle complete with WiFi, screened in deck with outdoor fireplace, washer/dryer, outdoor fire pit and barbecue area. With 2 full bathrooms featuring high end finishes, gourmet kitchen with large butcher block island, and open floor plan for living spaces, guests will feel right at home. With sound dampening installed between floors, enjoy the beautiful views in peace. Only 4 miles from Emerald Isle beaches and 3 miles from historic Swansboro dining, experience what Cedar Point has to offer with a stay at our home.

The kitchen includes high end Maytag appliances. The stove has an air fryer feature, the dishwasher is super quiet, and the refrigerator has French doors to accommodate large platters. Also included for your convenience is a 12 cup coffee maker, microwave oven, toaster oven and stemware. Dishes include settings for 12 people and plenty of pots, pans, and casserole dishes for family cooking.

Linens are included in rental and feature fresh duvet cover and pillow sham covers between guests along with high thread count cotton sheets. Bath towels are very soft, absorbent and oversized.

EV charging station and parking is available under the house on the right side. Please do not park in the grass. Additional parking is available along the street.

The neighborhood is quiet and has amazing coastal views along the neighborhood roads. A short 1/4 mile walk away is a lookout deck over the intra-coastal waterway. Enjoy beautiful walks with abundant wildlife including ducks, geese, herrings and dolphins!

Two Kayaks are available at the property to use and additional kayaks, paddle boards and jet ski rentals are just 1.5 miles away at 132 Cedar Point Blvd and 108 West Corbett Ave along with a public boat ramp at 144 Cedar Point Blvd.

Unit B on the top level also has similar floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths if you are interested in booking both levels for extended family and friends.

Home was clean, close to grocery stores, restaurants, and local shopping. The kayak would have been fun to use but you have to be able to transport them. My kids liked watching the turtles outside in the marsh like area in the back.

We loved staying in Cedar Point for our first trip to NC. The deck was used daily for outdoor reading and dining. The unit was immaculate, it was extremely clean and had extra touches to put it over the top. All amenities needed for cooking in the kitchen were provided. Every detail was thought through to provide the best experience. It was only a short 12 minute drive to Emerald Bay beach and returning to a quiet street after.

We are the Davis' and we love Cedar Point! Cathy grew up here and has lots of family in the neighborhood of our beautiful new home! Ben grew up in VA and we live in Richmond when we are not visiting our Cedar Point family. Nacho, our dog of 11 years, loves the area since it is so dog friendly with trails, restaurants and ICW adventures!

Why they chose this property

Cathy grew up in Cedar Point along with her 3 siblings. She swam, fished, and boated in these same waters. As a child, the area was mostly undeveloped and you could walk the deer trails and hunt for quail. Now, Cedar Point has grown into a vacation destination with great hiking trails in the Croatan National forest, unique shops and fun nightlife destinations.

What makes this property unique

The property has beautiful views of the ICW including private islands and Emerald Isle. It also has fresh water artesian wells on the back of the property that feed into the sound so there is water on 3 sides with amazing natural vegetation including palms, water oaks and a variety of marsh grasses. The house is angled on the property to capture the best views and the southwest breeze off the water when you are on the deck.

At night there is very little light pollution and the stars are abundant. Sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed from opposite ends of the deck. And the large yard with built in BBQ, picnic table and on site outdoor games provides great space for cookouts and family fun!
