About this property
New Mountain Home Minutes from Downtown Asheville & Spectacular Views
Gorgeous brand new mountain home! Have the best of both worlds with these wonderful mountain views while truly being only 3 minutes from downtown Asheville.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In Asheville our house is only allowed 30 day minimum. The daily price listed here reflects what our house rents for on a monthly basis whether that is one month or twelve. Gas, electric, internet, etc. are always included at the roughly $5400/month.
Grab your clothes and toothbrush and escape to our private home nestled in the mountains just a few minutes up Town Mountain Road from the center of Asheville. The gated drive is highlighted by mature trees, rock outcroppings, and abundant wildlife. On the other hand, if you forgot to get milk, you can zip down to the nearest grocery store in a minute or so.
Wide plank pine hard wood flooring, stained glass windows, shabby chic antiques, a wall of windows, two story wood burning fireplace open to the great room and kitchen are a few of the unique features at the misty mountain home. The brand new, fully equipped eat-in kitchen has everything you need for a quiet meal or holiday party (including dishwasher, garbage disposal, and cold filtered water).
This old world cabin boasts salvage beams in an open floor plan... cozy yet spacious with great flow.
When you've finished your day, you'll retire to VERY comfortable beds. These pillow top mattresses will lull you to sleep in no time! King in the master, Queen in the second bedroom, and two twins (can be combined) in the third bedroom.
If you still need space for more people, the down filled pit group couch can sleep two more. It's very comfy... and I'm speaking from experience!
If you've had enough of the outdoors, you'll be glad to know you can veg out in front of the brand new 60' 3D Flat screen HDTV. It's connected to the net, so watch tons of cable channels, Netflix, YouTube, or whatever grabs your fancy.
The outdoor decks include ample eating space and a gas grill.
Put on your hiking boots and go for miles, or just 20 minutes. Many beautiful hikes and scenic views are just down the road on the Blue Ridge Parkway. That's right, all this AND you're only 7 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Here's something else. The peaceful front yard is the perfect place to romp and roam. You don't often find a mountain side home with enough yard to play badminton!
This home has everything you need for a perfect Asheville stay.

About the host
Hosted by Sara Girardi

We are from Chicago, Illinois and come down as often as we can. We decided to rent our home out to caring guests because we wanted to share the fun and love we have for Asheville with others.
Why they chose this property
We found out about Asheville from some friends in 2005. After our first visit, we were hooked. Being from Chicago, where it can take four hours (of traffic) just to get to a decent park, we couldn't believe the abundance of nature coupled with the culture or Asheville city life. We've been coming for years, and finally finished our dream home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
What makes this property unique
Private mountain home with incredible views, yet only 3 minutes away from thriving Asheville downtown.
