About this property
Walk to the River Arts District and West Asheville!
Spectacular new home with a unique combination of location, amenities, and a cliff-top view of the French Broad River, River Arts District, Downtown Asheville, and mountains beyond! Note for Summer-Fall 2022: A house is being built next door. See more details below.
Perfect for Remote Workers with high-speed Internet, Wifi, and two workspaces on separate floors. Take your Zoom/Webex calls from a private workspace (or from the couch!), take your breaks on one of two spacious covered decks, and at the end of the work day, get a little exercise walking to one of the awesome restaurants in the River Arts district or West Asheville to pick up dinner. Or stock up on groceries and cook all of your meals in the gourmet kitchen with gas range.
Very spacious 4 bedroom home on 3 levels, but all of the "basics" are available on the walk-in main level with no stair climbing required to access the master suite, kitchen, dining area, main living room, and huge covered deck.
Please note, in accordance with Asheville local regulations, minimum stay is 30 days. Also note that we expect that the exterior construction on the house next door will be complete in August-September 2022. There will likely be some construction noise during this period, with less noise after September as the builder moves in to interior finishing.

Beautiful 3-story house located on the side of a steep hill overlooking the valley. I bet it will be gorgeous during the fall. There is train noise below but it did not bother us. I am picky and thought the beds were very comfortable. Well appointed full kitchen with pots, pans, plates, etc. Lots of closet space, great hot water in the showers, master shower is a walk-in which I prefer (old injuries make getting into a tub challenging). There is a tub in the downstairs and 2nd floor bathrooms. Full size washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. Great location for walking to multiple good restaurants: donuts, bakery, tacos, pizza, Asian, coffee and 4 breweries. Also recommend eating at Vivian (1 mi) across the River for a date night meal. Easy walking distance to River Arts District. Host was very responsive!
Absolutely fantastic house - so spacious and clean. Awesome location, walking distance to all the breweries and restaurants in west Asheville, wonderful views from the 2 expansive decks. Would highly recommend!

We are experienced "Superhosts", having hosted (with great reviews) for the past 4 years at our previous vacation house, via another popular rental site. For this property, we have moved to Vrbo because it allows us to offer a more flexible cancellation policy for 30+ day rentals than is possible with "the other guys".
