Wonderful views and enough space to spread out. The cleanliness of the master bath and kitchen were a problem. We had an issue with no water the first night at only 2 showers, not long showers. Evidently there was an issue with "exceeding the allotment for the property".The views are absolutely AMAZING.
Great location for enjoying the slopes at Beech Mountain. Views were amazing as the name suggests. Showed up and found that several things were not working. Handyman arrived as we were unpacking at 7pm. Bad timing. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Beer bottle found in master bathroom drawer. Hot tub was very nice. All in all great place.
Terrible experience this time. Started as soon as we arrived. Front door handle was getting jammed and would not open. Garage was broken and off track. Had to lift it up manually the small amount that it would go to crawl under it. This became my entry for the entire stay. Host (Carolina Cabins) was not concerned with our issue and made us feel like we were dumb for not being able to get in even when I sent a video of the issue. Took 2 days for someone to come out and that resulted in the garage being cracked more for it to be my way in for the rest of the trip.Screen doors were broken on both floors swinging through the night crashing into windows making loud noise keeping us up the first night. Had to go out and prop a chair against it toprevent swinging. Host was bot concerned about this. Main bathroom upstairs has the pocket door off the track. So that room was exposed the entire time to the smells of the bathroom. Garage was never mentioned to be broken and we expected to be able to use it during our stay. Garage access leads to mud room. Instead we had primary foot traffic with snow coming through front door making everything wet. Downstairs was extremely cold due to garage being exposed to the elements. Hosts did not return calls promptly could not provide ETAs. Manager never called back as requested. Did get a refund but it was partial and not even a nights stay. This will be the last time we stay here. Home is not being maintained.
