Penthouse Zen is ideally situated just 100m from the piste and main lift up to the glacier, yet a short stroll into Zermatt Town centre, and offers superb views up to the Matterhorn.

This luxurious loft apartment accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 en-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms can be Double bed or Twin beds. The spacious master bedroom with study area opens onto the south facing balcony with stunning Matterhorn views. There is an en-suite bathroom with large Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The second double bedroom offers a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower, and the third bedroom includes a bathroom with shower. There is a very large family style living room with bar, open plan kitchen and dining area, also opening onto the balcony running the length of the apartment, taking up the whole top floor of the building, accessed by elevator with a private key.

Daily cleaning and mid-week linen change are included for all Winter stays, making Penthouse Zen the perfect choice for guests who appreciate housekeeping but preferring to take advantage of Zermatt's wonderfully varied restaurants, bars and night life. Breakfast and fully catered options are also available on request.

Amazing location and wonderful home!

I highly recommend staying in this home rather than a hotel if you like to have lots of space and a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! The hosts were great - I highly recommend it!

Beautiful penthouse!

The Penthouse Zen was a perfect place for our family! The luxury loft was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. The loft is stocked with necessities and is located in a very convenient part of the village. Close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful with sounds of the river! The hosts were a delight to work with. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us! We will definitely be back!

Outstanding

Our trip to Zermatt was outstanding, including the property, location, amenities, the local property manager (Philippa), comfort, and our ability to relax and enjoy everything that Zermatt has to offer. Unexpected added touches were the arranged transportation to and from the train station and assistance with alternate housing when our departing train was canceled due to avalanches. Overall we felt treated with respected members of the family.

Family Trip to Switzerland

My family had a wonderful time in Zermatt. The space we rented was superb. Location was outstanding. It was a short walk to the main part of town and next to outdoor amenities. We had a surprise situation one day with a construction project happening in close proximity. The owner was very responsive and helped us figure out how long the construction would continue and an alternative plan (which was not necessary). We would 100% rent this space again and cannot wait to return to Zermatt to ski.

Home away from home

This is our second stay at Penthouse Zen. The layout, the location and the views are wonderful. The proximity to the Matterhorn Express lift is unparalleled. What really makes this property perfect is Philippa and Palmira. Philippa goes above and beyond to ensure our needs are met. She even communicated with our son in law to coordinate the delivery of his snowboard. She is absolutely amazing. Palmira is the most efficient house cleaner and the property is impeccably clean, even by Swiss standards. Penthouse Zen is our home away from home when in Zermatt.

Heaven in Zermatt

I was initially hesitant to book Penthouse Zen because I thought it may be too far from the town center, but it is in a perfect location. It's a pleasant stroll to restaurants, shops and the Co-op grocery, and there is also a bus that stops yards from the entrance. The apartment is beautiful, beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are spa-like, and the Matterhorn view is stunning. Palmira was kind and informative, and the arranged transportation from the train station was a plus. (There is a minimal charge for the return taxi.) Penthouse Zen was our favorite stay during our two week trip. We hope to return someday!

Unbeatable location

We are frequent visitors to Zermatt and fair to say we have stayed in our share of rentals. Penthouse Zen has an unbeatable location steps from the Matterhorn Express. The property manager is stellar: super responsive and knowledgeable. My only comment would be the kitchen. Compared to other rentals it is not very well equipped. Again, Philippa was quick to respond and being over knives and a salad bowl etc but it really could use updating and restocking. However (and this is important to note) the location and overall quality of the property carry the day. We have booked again for next year. Note there isn’t a sauna or hot tub (not a priority for our group). Lovely home away from home for the week.

Komfortables Apartment in toller Lage

Apartment hat eine tolle Lage und einen super Ausblick auf das Matterhorn. Der Layout ist sehr komfortabel. Das Apartment ist bereits älteren Datums aber ist teilweise bereits geschmackvoll modernisiert.
