Spend an Ocracoke Island vacation at this attractive home designed after the historic Outer Banks Lifesaving Stations. Enjoy this popular pet-friendly island home located at the entrance to Jackson Dunes. The comfortable interior features an open floor plan. The popular gated front porch and private screened porch tucked among the trees are a favorite of vacationing guests.

3 bedrooms and 2 Baths: 1 Primary Bedroom with a King and private bath, 1 with two Twins, 1 with two sets of Bunk Beds.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and three flat-screen TVs. Washer and dryer. High chair and Pack-N-Play (with a co-sleeper feature, please bring sheets). The kitchen offers a Keurig K-Cup/Drip Coffee Pot and a 1000-watt blender.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunks.

The exterior offers a wraparound porch with gate, screened porch, deck swing, picnic table, hot/cold outdoor shower, park-style charcoal grill, and fish cleaning bench.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 2 Dogs. Limit of 4 vehicles.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at the time of booking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Great!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Lookout. Loved the screened in porch, hot showers, comfy beds and complete accommodations. We would definitely stay at The Lookout again.

We really appreciated the layout of this home. It was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed that we all knew where each other was, whether on the screened porch, front porch, family room or kitchen, so we were together even if we were doing our own thing. The kitchen was central so the cooks were never left out of the fun. We enjoyed using the varied kitchen gadgets and utensils. We ate every meal on the shady screened in porch. There isn’t direct access from the kitchen, but there were lots of trays provided to help move items in and out. The front porch was breezy and a perfect place to sit for good conversations. The outside shower was just the right size too. Our host was quick to respond to questions and we are already looking forward to next year!
