The perfect setting for your holiday, situated on the west coast of Portugal, just north of Lisbon. The cottage is located in the small, welcoming village Fontanelas, close to the heart of Sintra's historical town, UNESCO World Heritage site, makes it an unmissable base for your cultural, city or beach holiday. You can find all of the major attractions in Sintra, including fairy-tale Pena Palace, the castle, museums, the cultural centre, shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also easy access to Lisbon itself, the famous casino in Estoril, or the beautiful marina at Cascais.

The house is surrounded by traditional garden and flower beds - a great place for BBQ.

The fully equipped kitchen makes your self-catering holiday all the easiest, as you’ll find all that you need in there.



The Sintra area:
In Sintra cultural centre you can choose from ballet, theatre, classical or contemporary music, etc.
There are several high quality golf courses around, including the world famous Penha Longa, as wel a Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos situated in Cascais.
Water sports such as surf, body board and fishing are available at the local beaches and sailing from the Cascais Marina.

Lovely Villa mit Garten.... wunderbar

Wunderbarer Bungalow, nicht das typische Ferienhaus, in sehr ursprünglichem Dorf Fontanelas. Unsere Vermieterin Ana - einfach super nett und hilfsbereit, spricht sehr gut englisch, wir haben uns von Anfang an richtig zu Hause gefühlt. Tolle Umgebung, viel zu besichtigen, Wanderungen möglich - und unser Hausstrand "Praiha da Aguda" ist ein Traum! Hatten einen rundum tollen Urlaub. Danke Ana!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis , la propriétaire a pris le temps de nous expliquer tout ce que nous devrions visiter. La maison est équipée de documentation digne d'un office de tourisme. Nous étions à 40 km de Lisbonne et accessible en autoroute gratuite,donc très rapide, et juste à coté de sintra. Quand nous rentrions le soir, nous nous retrouvions dans un quartier résidentiel calme et en sécurité. La maison est bien équipée, et ces propriétaires sont charmants .

Very nice house in Fontanelas

We had a very nice stay in the Lovely Villa. The house is tastefully furnished, clean, very spacious and has a big outside area with a nice garden and terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped. The villa is located in a fairly quiet residential area in Fontanelas, which is good for relaxing. The Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, Lisbon, Mafra, Queluz, Cabo da Roca, the lovely coastline nearby and many other areas of interest are close by. We appreciated all the helpful tips and advice from Ana and her husband very much! All in all, we felt very comfortable and perfectly at home and would come back anytime!

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances. La maison est très propre, bien agencée, tout confort et très bien située. Le quartier est très calme, idéal pour se reposer. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil et le panier garni de bienvenue : une belle et sympathique surprise. Fontanelas est un village vivant avec tous commerces. Ses restaurants sont très accessibles mais surtout très bons. Les plages aux alentours sont magnifiques et très étendues. La localisation de la maison permet d'être très rapidement à Sintra, Cascais, Lisbonne, Ericeira, Mafra,... Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Et nous reviendrons !!!
