We live next door at the Fortezza house and look forward to settling you in and making you feel at home. We are also happy accompany guests to hidden gems for walks and places for memorable Tuscan dining for a unique local experience. We are also happy to prepare breakfast with eggs from our chicken and herbs from our garden.

We moved to Lucca 3 years ago to reforest a historic property (1000 AD) with diverse native plants such as italian pine oaks, chestnut and hazelnut trees.
Why they chose this property
We chose Lucca because of its natural beauty, yet proximity to the beach, mountains, vineyards and two airports and the main highways and trains to reach throughout Europe.
What makes this property unique
Our property is actually two home, a country villa and historic defense tower built over 1000 years ago to protect Lucca from Pisa. It is strategically situated to have views in all directions while remaining "hidden". It feels timeless, and yet is only 10 minute drive to Lucca's historic center!
