Step outside to enjoy your view of Cadillac Mountain, watch the eagles soar in the sky or the seals swimming in with the tide. This one floor home offers:

Primary bedroom with a king bed, a waterfront view, and an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.

Second bedroom has a queen bed and lots of natural light.

Third bedroom has a full sized bed and storage.

Full bathroom #2 has tons of storage, and a walk in shower.

The living room offers lots of seating with an expansive view of the ocean, and a flat screen TV.

The kitchen has plenty of seating for 6, lots of storage, and all of the pots, pans and appliances for the family meals. There is a lobster pot and a gas grill for those Maine surf and turf splurges.

You are minutes away from wonderful restaurants, a tennis court, a non-denominational chapel, a library, a few town grocery stores with food and gas, and Carters Beach

The cottage is about 5 miles from Ellsworth for Hannafords, Shaws, Walmart, shopping, antiquing and restaurants.

Bar Habor and Cadillac Mountain are 23 miles

Schoodic Point is 18 miles

There is a ferry from Winter Harbor right to Bar Harbor about 15 miles away.

We had a phenomenal week at Marks’ Sea Cottage. The house was very clean and comfortable. Beds were also very comfortable. The property is stunning with a view of Jellison Cove/Frenchman’s Bay and Cadillac Mountain! Easy access to Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point and many excellent restaurant options. We definitely plan to return!

The view would be hard to beat at any other place, big windows with that beautiful view, watching the tide come in and out, and the mountains over the water, picture perfect. Convenient to Acadia, Bar Harbor, and many of the other quaint little towns. Place was clean, had everything we needed, very comfortable. Would have no problem coming back to Mark‘s place.

We’ve developed quite the obsession for visiting coastal Maine in the fall and Mark’s Sea Cottage absolutely hit the spot! The views are magical! We spent hours upon hours watching the tides go in and out and the birds and ducks feeding and floating about. Even had a seal visit one morning! Acadia in the background was the cherry on top! Little Slice of Heaven!

My family of four (and our fur baby) stayed at Mark's the week of July 4th. What an AMAZING place! We loved that we could hear/see the lobster boats in the bay every morning. The incoming and outgoing tides were fun to watch as well. The house was perfect for our needs and extremely comfortable. The best part was being able to see the fireworks from the living room couch on the 4th! Everyone was extremely accommodating and communicative. We would love to stay at this house again.

Would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Love the location and views! Basically right between Acadia and Schoodic and lots of good food options nearby. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of fans if you need them. The master bathroom tub didn’t work and the shower was very small, just a heads up. They did not have bar soap if that’s important to you. Recommend Bar Harbor Lobster Pound and The Pickled Wrinkle for food. Only one issue when we ran out of dishwasher soap and they brought it by promptly. Loved the steps down to the ocean, made it easy for kids to access. Area was very peaceful and beautiful!! Would definitely stay again!
