Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here`s what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah`s UDot app and Wunderground`s website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
• Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
• Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
• Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
• Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
• While we`re a small village, we`re here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.
For a stress-free getaway, call us ahead to tailor your trip to perfection!
Your Host, Duck Creek Management

Perfect getaway

Host was quick with communicating and very helpful when needed. I would happily stay here again and strongly recommend this place to anyone else. The pricing is very fair.

The cabin was very cozy and the perfect size for our party of 6. But the cabin was really dirty- several areas were really sticky, like soda had been spilled, including floors, bedroom remote, and dining table (there was even cardboard still stuck to the top of dining table). But the WORST was all the dog hair!!!! It was everywhere! After we sat on the couch our clothes were covered in hair, it was so gross! There was a torrential rain storm when we arrived and the roof was leaking onto the couch (totally unforseen event, we were ok with that) but we received permission from the owner to move the couch away from the leak and we were disgusted by the layers of dog hair covering the floor and stuck to the couch legs, as well as matted around the base of the lamps and tables. Honestly, we have a dog, I get it! But this was so disgusting! There was even dog food under a bed. It felt a little like we were staying in a dog house :( Besides that, lighting was terrible! Most light fixtures did not have bulbs! In order to play card games in the living room, we had to move lamps from the bedrooms to be able to see. Horrible lighting!
