Amazing property with thoughtless customer service. We received a confirmation message over a month before our stay, mentioning access codes will follow. When we arrived, no follow up communication had been received. We were told by a staff member that we were in the wrong place, even after showing photos from booking site. With no signal in the jungle and no wifi codes provided, we were unable to reach out. LUCKILY, another guest shared wifi pw and we called the host in WhatsApp. Voice mail . An hour later the host made contact and finally provided access. Now rental car return is late. No signs or numbers amongst the dozenish suites. Our suite further advanced the feeling our reservation had been forgotten. Clean...ish. like it had been been vacant awhile? Spiderwebs across the stairs; lots of ants around; inadequate water pressure in bathroom sink; no coffee in the suite or common area;cooktop didn't work(host responded five hours later- after check out). The suite was BEAUTIFUL and the grounds idyllic.This stay was our last, with five other great stays and hosts in a self- guided whirlwind tour through the Yucatan peninsula. Every other stay overdelivered after humble premise. This stay was all show and no flow.
