Waterfront Cabin with Hot Tub! Free Kayaks & Canoes, Fishing Boats, & Bicycles!
Small waterfront 1-bed private cabin with a view of an undeveloped state-owned island. It is about the size of an extended-stay hotel room. There is a double-sized bed and a pull-out sofa bed that will accommodate 2 children.
There is a small kitchen area and a bathroom with a shower. There is a Smart TV with both WIFI and cable.
Everything you'll need is included - linens, bedding, silverware, dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, hand soap, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and hand towels.
There is a Circle K gas station with all the necessities that is open 24/7 just 2 1/2 miles away. There is a large Kroger grocery store about 5 miles from the cabin that is open until 10 pm.
Enjoy the free use of our kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and fishing boats, to navigate between the beautiful islands across from your cabin. While the river is usually no higher than waist deep, life vests for both adults and children are provided and required by law.
There is a 12-mile-long hiking and biking trail that abuts our property and runs through the woods along the river. We have complimentary bikes of every size.
My husband and I purchased the 12 cabins that are "Riverwood Log Cabins" in 1998 and live midway through the property in the brown "A" frame should you need anything.
We even supply wood for your first campfire!
Well-behaved pets are always welcome at no extra charge but, must be on a leash when outside when other pets are present. Smoking is permitted outside.
Thanks

We had a great stay with our pups at this pet friendly cabin. The host and staff were all so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved using the kayaks available and there is access to a hiking trail right behind the cabins. Would love to come back again.
This was an amazing weekend. It was so much fun and so peaceful. The owners were so nice and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be making this a yearly trip!
This is such a fun spot for families, Parker and Cathy are very kind and welcoming. There is endless fun things to do on site and the cabins are all so unique and fun. The view is fabulous and relaxing, and the fishing was awesome! We will definitely be staying again.
Great owners. The friendliest man you will ever meet. The property is amazing. A great view of the river. Kayaks and canoes. You could not ask for a better more family friendly atmosphere. Will absolutely be back
A little difficult to find but nicely located for river and bike trail access. Cabins are dated but functional and we knew it would be a tight squeeze in the small cabin we booked. Hosts and managers were super friendly and on property so that is a big plus. If you are used to camping or roughing it a little then this property is perfect. Hosts did offer us a bigger cabin but we were already unpacked.
The owners and staff are terrific - very welcoming and caring. The cabin is cute and cozy. The river runs right in front of the cabin, with access to kayaks, etc. right there. Waterville is a very cute town with good eateries. I loved the Toledo Zoo which is nearby. Do be aware, however, if you are looking for an isolated cabin in the woods, this one is part of 12 cabins along the river, like a campground. It was quiet and everyone was great, but you will have neighbors. I loved my stay and will return.
We booked a cabin to spend time playing board games and fishing. The cabin was perfect -- we had a great table to play games on and a beautiful back porch for views of the river. The hosts provided us with kayaks (and a trip upriver so we could float down!) and access to a fishing boat. The city of Waterville had great food and was close to mini golf and a fun mall. Parker, Cathy, Glen, and Samantha were all amazing. We will be back!
Our stay was excellent! Parker met us at the front cabin. Showed us around, answered any questions and was there if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. Hot tub worked great. Happy all around!
Cathy & Parker we’re great host and very accommodating. It was a very relaxing time. Great for just a night away with your spouse, we enjoyed fishing and taking in the fresh air.
This place was really amazing! The cabin is a little small but was perfect for us. We only stayed one night but want to head back soon to stay longer! We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and using the hot tub.
It truly exceeded our expectations,Parker came and make sure that everything was so accommodating he even took pictures of us for our memories and also provided kayaks, canoes bicycles, all at no extra charge and even made our river trip better by adding a little motor for our canoe to make it easier !!Seriously you cannot have asked for better hosts
I planned this with a friend and ended up going alone, but had a great time. The hosts were great, would do anything to make you comfortable; i even called Parker to come kill a bug a for me because i was scared , he came with no problem!
