About the host
Hosted by Patti Theall

I was born in Milo Maine, just a few miles from Schoodic Lake. Because both of my parents were born here, I was blessed to have spent summers on the lake, as did my children. We moved away when I was 3, to southern NH, but my mother purchased this vintage cabin so we could continue to make memories with be Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and childhood friends. I host, to help others make memories of their own, as proven by my many repeat renters who return year after year.
Why they chose this property
While sitting on the lakeside deck, you see no other camps, just the 8x4 mile lake, views of Mount Katahdin on a clear day, and the sound of loon.
What makes this property unique
This vintage cabin takes you back to a simpler, less stressful time, where close quarters builds intimacy and we are reminded of the healing power of nature.
