Betsy and Tim have backgrounds in hospitality and small business. We love hosting because of the standards we expect when we travel. We are lovers of golf and family and hope you can enjoy both while in the Barnwell Estate.
Why they chose this property
The downtown Aiken area is so fun and welcoming to guests. We love being able to walk down to the restaurants and stroll home while stopping in a shop or two.
What makes this property unique
This property is VERY special. It is over 100 years old and has had great stewards of the property over those years. It underwent a large renovation just under 20 years ago to bring it to the current state it is in. There is a wonderful collection of photos in the kitchen photo album to document some of the changes. The original home has fire places throughout which were signs of the wealthy in the original footprint.
