Sweet little first level mountain home tucked away in Black Mountain.

Beautiful first level home within walking distance to downtown Black Mountain. One spacious master bedroom with luxurious King sized bed. Living room has Twin day bed and trundle. Full sized kitchen with everything you need to cook in. Washer and dryer are brand new. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Generous space, high ceilings. This apartment has everything you need to spend the night or the week relaxing or playing. Located on a wooded acre of land with a great fire pit and plenty of parking.
Special details make the difference. Brand new beds. 1000 ct sheets, down comforter, duvet, good pillows, fluffy towels... Wifi, Netflix, wireless speakers. Sweet little sitting porch overlooking wooded neighborhood. Very relaxing.
We are pet friendly. Please ask before you book, about particulars. Standard rate is 15.00 per day/per dog. While Home Away only has a tab for a one time fee, I have left this up for discussion depending on the size of your dog. An additional payment may be required, as the fee tab at Homeaway only offers a set tab. Therefore, if you stay for more than one night or have more than one dog, you can pay for the additional at check via PayPal or I can resend you a quote with the discussed amount on it. Black Mountain has terrific places to hike with your dog and there is a lovely dog park within a mile. Please make sure your four-legged are trained, adult, well behaved and not left alone within the premises uncrated, or for any length of time.

--Fantastic location, just a few minutes from downtown Black Mountain. --Host Tara was incredibly kind, helpful, and available before and throughout our stay, and she left a delicious vanilla pound cake for us as a treat! --The space was large, nicely furnished, very clean and tidy, and bed was super comfortable with luxurious pillows and comforter. The electric fireplace in the bedroom was sweet and cozy and put out fantastic warmth. --Overall excellent experience, we would stay here again for sure!

Sweet little retreat

We liked the property a great deal; it was very convenient to Asheville while still feeling somewhat secluded. Not a big deal, but there was some noise overhead at night from dogs/people. We're used to pet noise in our home, but someone who isn't might find that challenging. Otherwise, we enjoyed it, though we were barely there because we were out doing things! Love the area! Such a gorgeous place!

Peaceful Quiet Home

Very Nice for a couple !! Upscale neighborhood and so quiet in the mountain hillside. Quite a steep driveway but accessible with our car. Would stay here again. Very nice for the cost.

The apartment was very nice, the bed was very comfortable and it was a pleasure having a washer and dryer available. We had a great time, we were able to go see many sites since my daughter lives in town and was close by and took us to see many of the sites available to us. We all had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Cute place for a couple

The space is perfect for 2 people. More supplies stocked than I have ever seen in a rental ! However, the owner told us (she lived above) that she would be out of town the week we rented. Instead when we got there, she was there and was moving furniture the whole time above us. The first 3 days were horrible - the noise. Although she is a very nice person we will never stay there again. Also, hopefully you have a 4 wheel drive, the driveway is straight up and full of gravel. My husband got stuck several times and literally burned rubber off our tires.

I had such a nice stay!

I travel a good bit. Sometimes I stay in hotels, other times in owner rentals. Not every accommodation is comfortable. This property is VERY comfortable. The location, layout, furnishings, linens, amenities and privacy all come together to provide for a lovely mountain getaway.

Quiet & Private

We are a family of four and this was perfect for us. We enjoyed staying here. This place was well stocked and the owner was responsive and caring. The location was perfect for us as we traveled up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway and visited other places in and around Black-mountain. Our nights were very quiet as there is not much traffic and there is a large fire pit that made for fun evenings.

Me and my Husband came here on our honeymoon. Tara was VERY respectful and very easy to speak with. It was so cute inside with a comfort level of 100! The king bed was PERFECT. Never wanted to leave it. It’s tucked away in the mountain with a gorgeous view. She even had some amenities left over for us. We never ran out of anything.. the washer and dryer came in handy too if you plan on staying for a little while.. There’s a grill & a fire pit outside. Perfect for steaks one night and roasting marshmallows another. 😁 Black Mountain is absolutely cute and we will be back for our anniversary! We definitely recommend staying here.

We loved this little place. Perfect location to everything we wanted to do in a relaxing setting. Tara was a considerate and caring hostess. She made sure arrived safely, gave us little suggestions on hikes, eateries, and coffee. Even when hurricane Michael tried to ruin our stay, Tara was gracious enough to resolve the issue without question. I would gladly stay here again! Thank you Tara!

Black Mt is a quaint town outside of Asheville & we so enjoyed staying in this beautiful apt. It’s spacious, clean, comfortable & beautifully decorated tucked in a quite neighborhood. Our hostess was extremely helpful from stocking the frig with coffee, half/half to suggestions of local restaurants & hiking trails. We look forward to returning!!

Perfect little spot. Very clean, simple cozy, quiet neighborhood. Very close to downtown Black Mountain. Loved the little porch. Great for morning breakfast or happy hour cocktails. Very peaceful. Some places in Black Mountain you can hear the traffic of 40. This was not the case. All you hear are birds during the day and the frogs at night And maybe a lawn mower from a neighbor. Tara was great to communicate with. She answered my questions in a very timely manner. Yes the driveway is steep; however it is a home in the mountains..everything is steep.
