Very good

Very clean with a great location that was within walking distance of downtown. Check in instructions were provided ahead of time and were very easy to follow. Good internet and WiFi. Erika was very responsive when I had questions. Very good for the price. I appreciated that I could bring my pets and all of our party had their own bedroom. I knocked a star off due to the games not working and inability to adjust the thermostat.

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Property was not as advertised. Was missing specific items that were listed in the description. The 5th BR and 3rd Bathroom are only accessible from an outdoor, steep staircase that might be an issue for some guests. Property is in need of maintenance.
Other than the squirrel chewing it's way into the upstairs apartment, the house was adequate. The response to the above concern was great, and problem resolved. Things to consider for a more comfortable stay: enough washcloths for towels, small plates, kitchen towels (although we bought and left 4), and better fitted curtains (lights from street were bright). The heat/cooling was a mess. I understand not to "mess" with the system, but it was as cold in the house as outside, and we wanted to open windows for fresh air, but not possible in some rooms (btw the window in the front bedroom is getting ready to fall out. Considering the above, I think it was a bit expensive for what was provided.
The yard was great for our dog and the fire ring was a lovely complement to fall weather. We used it on two nights:) There was plenty of room for us, though more seating and table space for up to sixteen would be helpful, as well as 16 plates. The upstairs unit's AC was ON, and we didn't realize until the THIRD NIGHT that THAT was why the room was uncomfortably cold. It would have been nice to know that in advance. It also would have benefitted out family to know in advance that the room upstairs was a completely separate unit. There were no mixing bowls, potato peeler, or sufficient cutting boards in the downstairs kitchen. More hand towels and washcloths would be appreciated. The downstairs fridge door - right side - did not seal well. The sliding glass door was very hard to open so we used the side door for fear of breaking the handle. Also, the "Game Room" games were unplayable, which was disappointing because we had indicated that kids were part of our group. (The arcade video game didn't work and the shuffle board surface was not smooth enough for the discs to slide). The outdoor cinderblock bench - though creative - was not well sealed, as it fell apart when a family member fell back on it. All in all, our family had a great time. But compared to other Vrbos, aspects of this house were disappointing.
