My husband Joey and I own Sharp County Outdoors in Ash Flat and originally came across this property for a long term rental. However, during our remodel of the property, it became clear that this property was meant to help our short term rental shortage in Ash Flat. Since then, the property has been the temporary home for a family that lost theirs in the tornado in 2025; a family that was in the middle of a home addition while days away from the birth of their lovely daughter; another family relocating from Maine used the home while looking for their new one; a lovely lady that suddenly lost her Grandmother and needed a peaceful place to gather herself while she dealt with the loss; contractors in town during the snow storm needing a home base to be able to still serve their Ash Flat clients; and folks wanting a comfortable place to stay so they can visit their relatives or watch ball games at the Ash Flat Ball Park. From emergency needs to planned, tt definitely has been an honor and privilege to have this property to host the people that have stayed with us for a variety of reasons and we look forward to hosting many more.
