If you ever want a great spot and want to have the complete privacy to only your group to include the free firewood, Kayaks, canoes, firepits, gas grills, 2 volley ball nets, cornhole, bad mitten, Teather ball, swim pool, dock, fishing, basketball, 3 ping ping pong, (3) pool tables 2 fooze ball tables and house escape games and limousine and free uber lyft and breakfast bring it on and bring them all even if you want to add plenty more when in route book all 4 houses and own the cul-de-sac for only your guests:) We always offer free if available early arrival and departure for our 5 star guests. Amazing property for groups!

This property is amazing with a ton of amenities! Two hot tubs worked great, tiki bar, pool table, lots of space! Great for family reunions, group gatherings, and more! The property manager was very nice to me and it really made my birthday extra special!

The last message we received on our platform here was that every thing was great and thank you. Many times rain can change the outlook on the day and March brings April and May showers. We on hand have taken a get it better approach to reviews and have adde a mini split and updated this location with now a King bed and faster internet along with a few other updates and we are adding on to our other cottages a extra kitchen, bathroom that is handicap helpful along with a breezeway to make Sunshine house even better. I forgot to include a seperate hot tub on the private side of the house which is at the end of the culdesac. We also added more kayaks, canoes and float rafts. So please kindly accept a discount of $50 as our return gesture for your crew and if you have any issues be sure to message us on the group check in text as we have team members to help you with anything to include starting your campfire ! We look forward to your return let your friends and family know they can help you earn a discount and they get a discount of $50 when booking using your name for our guests. Responsive Hosts and Nice Retreat

The hosts responded promptly to all communications and accommodated an after-hours check-in which was thoroughly appreciated. Unfortunately, the interior was plagued by a pungent odor (think uncooked chicken left in a trashcan for a couple of weeks) that was a dealbreaker for our wedding night and resulted in a last-minute pivot to Embassy Suites. While I can't comment too much on the rest of the facilities due to our short stay (less than 30 minutes), everything appeared visually clean and in great working order likely making for a great family or friends group weekend getaway. I would still recommend, just planning to show up during normal check-in hours and not be too exhausted to dialogue with the hosts if some special request or additional cleaning is needed (both of which I anticipate they would both promptly and thoroughly address).

Place to stay that let my little stay too!!

I knew it was older lake cabin, no worries it was nice. The weather didn’t cooperate so was unable to enjoy the property to it’s fullest. My complaints: there were ants on the kitchen counters, no matter how many I killed more came back. So they need to get that under control, but again early season rental probably fine in middle of June. The hot tub is shared and actually sits on another cabins patio, so could be strange if you and your neighbors don’t know each other. My experience was fine, if you want a lake front get away with some cool stuff around including pretty good restaurants I would recommend this place. Communication was fantastic, owner is super nice.

Campau Lake

Very cool spot, other vacationers were super cool and everyone got along very well. Definitely more spacious on the inside than it looks from the outside so that's really nice and is a very beautiful and peaceful environment. Also super cool cuz they offer kayaks and conoes, volleyball, firepit, and a hot tub! :)

My group of friends and I DID NOT stay here!!! We walked in- washed our hands- and contemplated calling the health department because of the unsafe conditions.We were supposed to get the brown cottage and when we were being “upgraded” the house we were sent to was a yellow house that was recently flipped! When we arrived at the location that property was occupied. My rental description was that of the brown house and the pictures were on that location. We did NOT WANT, or ask for the “upgrade”. When we got to the property there were animal feces all over the yard- cigarette butts and garbage. I have pictures of all of this in addition to the newly painted bathroom which is a hazard because when you are painting you need to have a ventilated area for at least two days before staying. There was no carbon monoxide alarm, a faulty smoke alarm in addition to a non-working furnace and a potential gas leak. There was no fire extinguisher to be found in case anything did happen! Our check in time was supposed to be at 3, got pushed back to 4, then 4:30, then 5:00 and then finally 5:30. It was communicated that there was an internet issue and that needed to be fixed. Upon arriving there was no evidence of repair work on the internet nor cable and was told they were not able to fix it so we were without! As soon as I walked in the door it smelled like fresh paint. The silverware was still wrapped in plastic, everything had tags on it like it was recently bought. Stacia was a ok communicator, but was asked and prompted with inquires she seemed to have a “quick” resolution to it all. My friends and I decided that we could not stay in the rental due to a number of things- this rental IS NOT what we signed up for or where we were supposed to be . Be careful with doing business or renting from these people. I have evidence of all of this, two way communication and pictures!

Amazing Weekend Getaway!

Stachia was a wonderful hostess. She showed us how to work everything in the house so we knew how to use everything and she was always a call or text away for any questions or problems. The house itself is truly a castle. A very welcoming home with everything you need in it!

Very Happy with this rental! Definitely a Five Star!

We were very happy with our stay. The communication was very good, the check-in process was smooth and informative, the home was very clean and had everything we needed. The view and sunrise was breathtaking. The location was easy to find and close to the Grand Rapids Airport. We will be staying again. Definitely a Five Star!

Michigan vacation cottage that could use some work

Spent 3 nights at this cottage and had some issues. The shower handle came apart in my hand that lead to not being able to use the water (including toilet) at all for 1 day and did not have any hot water for 2 days. The bathroom door was off one hinge and could not be completely shut. The couch was very nice in its day but the padding was very worn and the reclining chairs did not function. The hot tub was spacious, but did lose temperature very quickly. The lake was very nice and the cottage had a small boat and a couple kayaks it shared with the neighboring house. I felt the cottage was over priced, but with a few repairs and a new couch could be a nice 1 bedroom cottage. There is a $50 linen fee that is not disclosed until you get onsite. Take cash for that fee.

Yes we rent this as advertised a cottage with a great location and we really want to allow guests to use both locations for the same group. However we have 1 swim pool spa its brand new and keep the temp about air temp as its summer. The 1200-1400 gallons of water will take at least 1hour to get 4-6 degrees, im sure you cant find this within 45 miles if this property and so close to Grand Rapids. The beaches are shared with 3 docks kayaks and swim platform row boatand optional pontoon boat rental as seen on our site 4rentus fir a moderate rate also not available in the area. The other ussues are handled with a quick text or call to our team we monitor this we respond rather quickly. The plumbing company had just installed $3500 in new plumbing to include new toilet parts. The handle on the shower worked prior to guest arrival and then was broken. We assume from wear but at least this guest gave us a call to inform us and a text. We dispatched repair they fixed temporarily with and left a wrench as they stated it was broke off not wear. The guest left it running and tiok off instead of turning off the well pump right in plain site, so it ran for 2 hours before technician could arrive....really? Either way we will move on with a new part its part of the bussiness. The sliding door for the bathroom is i assume wear? The place is ausome large 8 burner gas grill private firepit, swim pool spa and 55 inch television, volleyball, water toys and picnic tables with umbrellas and yard games. Its a cottage and it has a lot of potential for somone that can find some joy in a get away. Sometimes joy is in a raindrop you just need to be aware of its souroundings. Like the 4 story we rent right next door you can book both places and have a great time with up to 60 guests. We will do our best to have everyone happy with everything working, and were i ly a phone call ir text away incase you break something or it wears out. We have over 50 places we manage please look for your special memory. Tired property

I never received check in instructions prior to arrival even though I messaged the morning prior to arrival. I finally placed a call because I did not have the proper address which was my fault because it was buried in an description which included the other properties they had listed. Prior to getting to the cottage, I received a call from the cleaning person that she had not been notified earlier so the unit would not be cleaned until around 5:30; check in was 3:00. I asked if we could wait at the property until she came to clean so my dad and nephew could fish. This was agreeable. The property is older which is not a problem except the bathroom door is a pocket door which doesn't close all the way because it can't stay on its track. She said the owner offered to upgrade us to the nicer unit next door at no cost; it also needed to be cleaned. We said we would take the upgrade because the bathroom was more handicap accessible and the door actually closed. We left to have dinner. While at dinner, she called to tell me the unit was ready but I would need to make the beds. Also, there was a cleaning fee (not disclosed prior) that I could leave on the table in cash. Also, the TV was not working so they opened the unit above us for that. My nephew is in a wheelchair, my parents are elderly and none of them can climb the stairs. We went to bed and left early the next day. Very disappointed with the experience. I did not leave the fee.

Wow, We provide text check in for 2 years the text is shared with the cleaner check in person, our general manager our maintenance person and the guest. We provide this on a group text, this way any needs can be met asap. We are a vacation rental home service 4rentus and not a hotel with handicap requirements. We try to please everyone and it's tough, however this location on the water at the end if a culdesac with breathtaking sunrises and ausome sunsets with a great layout between 2 houses sits a pool spa and volleyball court shared for great family reunions is the best in Grand Rapids area. We offer our free DezziRides app and transportation with DADDS MAGIC BUS AND LIMOUSINE for $12 to anywhere in Grand Rapids for groups to include other areas. We have a pontoon rental on site you can book on our web pages along with yachts and other requests we tried to accomodate So we will offer Free upgrades as she stated and we provided (still not good enough) and if you have to check in early or out late typically if no other guests are arriving or departing it's no charge. Hey we appreciate your business and aim to please, if we missed the mark please accept our apology. Let's plan ahead next time and talk maybe the technology texting isn't for everyone.
