This was a great home to get away for a mid-week anniversary trip. The mountain view is great and gazing at the stars from the hot tub was awesome. We did not use the propane fire pit or grill during our short stay but they looked great also. The property is not close to any stores so follow the owners instructions to bring supplies and you will be very happy.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights. The site was beautiful. However on one of the nights it got much colder than we planned, though emily was able to provide us a new heater the next day. Communication with Emily was beyond great. We absolutely would stay here again. Highly, highly recommend!!!
Wonderful stay at Emily’s place! The scene was picturesque and accommodations were perfect for our young family who made good use of the hot tub. House was sparkling clean with lots of amenities to make ourselves at home. Tons to do nearby including hiking and Berkeley Springs.
We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The views and nearby hikes were amazing, the home is spotless and well maintained, and the host was incredibly responsive. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you for a lovely trip.
Had an amazing stay! The VRBO was cozy, comfortable and clean in an amazing area. We loved the amenities, relaxing on the deck, by the fire pit, and in the hot tub were perfect! The host, Emily, was amazing and gave lots of great info about the area and was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!
Hot tub was great. Very clean and well thought out. The host was amazingly swift in response. The deck was amazing! This is a 5 star stay in every way!
We enjoyed our stay very much! The deck was magical during the summer with the hut tub and grill. Sunset over the mountain to the west. So nice that we got engaged on the deck!
We loved staying at this home! Not only was it spotless and clean, this house also gave us the perfect escape from our city life with its plush hotel bedding, hot tub, and breathtaking view of WV’s rolling hills and mountains. My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary, and while we may have come to visit historic Berkeley Springs, we LOVED being able to come back to this place and call it “home” for the weekend. We would love to revisit this home again in the future!
This cabin is incredible! We were blown away as soon as we walked in! The place is decorated beautifully throughout. From the amazing view off the deck, to the hot tub, to the extra blankets and coziest living room ever. The host has thought of all the details. We had one of the best long weekends we’ve ever had!
The house was very cute and well-stocked. I normally have to bring extra towels, blankets, paper products, etc. just in case, but we didn’t end up using any of it as there was plenty provided. There were even extra batteries for remotes and games, and there were 2 large umbrellas on the back deck to keep the sun off most areas even during the parts of the day with the most direct sunlight. We came during the summer when trees are covered in leaves, but we didn’t feel the location should be advertised as “secluded” as there are neighbors on a all sides that you can hear and see during the day.We also felt the barn door wasn’t a good solution for a bathroom if you’re staying with a group. The barn door leaves an opening where you can see into one of the bedrooms (and vice versa) if the bedroom door is open. We did enjoy our stay and were well-stocked! We played the digital monopoly and spent most of our time in the hot tub or by the fire pit.
Hi, I'm Emily, your host! We love to explore as a family of four. My husband and I have collected quite a few stamps in our passports, from Thailand to Fiji, Micronesia to Mexico, and Dubai to Costa Rica, to name a few. We love learning about new cultures and trying new foods!
