Top of the Mountain views in this spacious A-frame with wrap-around deck, and hot tub. This cabin has all the amenities of home, including internet. Great open floor plan with large windows giving you uninterrupted views with absolute privacy. Perfect for any occasion from a girl’s weekend getaway to a romantic honeymoon! The primary suite offers a king bed, the loft has 2 queen beds and a comfortable desk allowing you to work from home while being surrounded by nature. The large wrap around porch, hot tub, and fire pit will make it hard to ever want to go inside. There is also easy access to hiking trails and a waterfall just down the driveway.
Closely located to downtown Bryson City (approximately 15 minutes), the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Nantahala and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it! Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be used to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Important Information Before Booking Your Yellow Rose Cabin Rental

Mountain Roads:
Be prepared for steep, narrow, and curvy roads, both state-maintained and private.
Gravel roads are common.
These roads are part of the mountain charm but may require extra caution while driving.

Vehicle Requirements: front wheel drive vehicles only. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

Cabin descriptions will specify if 4WD, AWD, or FWD is required for access.

From the thrilling 4x4 trail that guides you to the summit of Mountain Time, to the breathtaking Smoky Mountain vistas enjoyed from the wraparound porch—complete with a relaxing hot tub—this is the essence of mountain cabin living.The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need and exudes a warm, inviting family vibe. Honeymoon

This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon we love the location and the amazing views that came with it! We were able to visit the places nearby and enjoy the views before and after in the hot tub! The only thing we can comment on that wasn’t great was the door looked like at one time it was kicked/pushed in and it made for trying to lock the door annoying at times because it wouldn’t always line up. Overall I have already told friends and family about the cabin and we have already talked about staying again in the future! Highly recommend having an AWD truck/suv to make it up to the cabin not sure we could make it if we were in a car.

Million Dollar View

What more could we have asked for...The views, the cabin, hot tube and fire place all met out expectations and then some. We came in for Polar Express in Bryson City. A short drive down the Mountain in to town. The drive up to the cabin was a challenge...we drove our Tahoe ...would not recommend drive a car to the cabin. You have to drive through a small creek on the way to the cabin. Over all...We LOVED it and will be back again soon!

Girls trip

We absolutely loved this property. It was the perfect feeling of secluded while still being within 30 minutes of all our activities. I was definitely nervous about the drive way after reading the reviews but it was nothing to be nervous about. I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2WD and had no problems even though it rained the majority of the trip. Would not recommend a driving a car that is low to the ground but there wasn’t much to it, just one or two rocks after the light stream. We will definitely be coming back to this property.

Terrific Cabin With Privacy

Yellow Rose was excellent in responding when we discovered the Satellite TV wasn't hooked up. The maintenance man was extremely professional, friendly and dedicated. He had to come back up the mountain a few times with the necessary equipment to fix it. Billy from Yellow Rose called to check on us after a severe storm went through the area. We stayed at another cabin managed by another company previously and will never stay with anyone but Yellow Rose again! Will definitely book this cabin again. Would recommend arriving in a truck or SUV, as the drive up is bumpy and steep at times, as well as having to go across a creek to get to the cabin. We were in a truck and had no issues.

I would recommend this to all my family and friends but make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle as it was a steep climb. Beautiful view of the mountains.

Unprepared rental co

Arrived at 6 pm & the places had not been cleaned no check in information. Received a conformation of the rental. Managing co was closed. Finally contacts someone on the emergency line. Cancel the cabin. Full rental was reimbursed. Spent 7 hours on the road to arrive w o a place to stay. Bad busness

Terrible!

Yellow Rose Realty, that manages this cabin will charge your credit card with bogus damages. I found out by looking at my credit card statement. They charged my account 500.00! When I called, they said the cover of the hot tub was ripped. My wife and myself told them it was already ripped upon our arrival. Since then, they refuse to answer my calls or return any messages left. Luckily I was able to dispute the transaction with my credit card company. DO NOT book with this cabin or Yellow Rose Realty! If you do, make sure to check your credit card. Also tub spa didn’t work. Gas fireplace didn’t work upon our arrival

Sister vacation

This year we opted for a maintain vacation instead of a beach one and we are so thankful we did. We weathered the hurricane in this amazing cabin. The hot tub was a great addition to the wonderful experience!! The drive up to the mountain was incredible, thankful we had a 4x4 truck though. Views were spectacular!!

Relaxing

Mountain Time was a much needed tranquil get away. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. The view was awesome, and it was so quiet there. We enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub in the evenings, and listening to the owlsin the area. We would definitely look forward to a return visit, but maybe with a 4x4 next time as the driveway was a little rough but traveling it was not real hard.

Gorgeous remote cabin for relaxation

Cabin came fully stocked from basic seasonings for cooking to blenders to marshmallow skewers. The view of the breathe taking. I have never seen mountains before, then to wake up and see three gorgeous mountains with no other cabins. It feels like you’re in the middle of peaceful woods.... Which you are. The drive to the cabin you will be a little worried due to a gravel road with high incline. The road is only able to have one car at a time but it’s a two way road. It was fun to drive once you get the hang of the road. It’s about 5 minutes on that road until the cabin. Have a all wheel Subaru, who handled it like a champ. The cabin was clean besides the kitchen but I’m assuming the people before didn’t teach it like there home. Bathrooms, bedrooms were perfect.

The new deck for the hot tub and newer furniture were nice. The only issue we had is that there is no longer DirectTV and the DVD player upstairs didn't work. We don't use apps for watching things and we were hoping for occasional TV or DVD entertainment for our 8 year old.

A very enjoyable trip

We had a great time here. The cabin was great and the view from it was beautiful. It was the perfect place to get awake from the rest of the world and just relax. I would for sure stay at this place again for another vacation.

The listing was all that and more!! The home was PERFECT, the view was PERFECT, even the weather was PERFECT!! Trip up the mountain was a tiny bit sketchy, we we got through it just fine! We will DEF be back!!
