About this property
Waterfront Getaway with Boat Slip/Dock and Spectacular Sunsets on Ahnapee River
"The River House"
Nestled on the banks of the Ahnapee River, this delightful main floor duplex offers everything for your next Algoma and Door County adventure. A great mix of sleeping arrangements to accommodate all your guests needs. Featuring a well-equipped kitchen and an attached bonus sunroom with stunning 180 degree water views (plus, a comfy sofa bed). Perfect for a relaxing getaway, fishing charter, or a trip to Lambeau Field. Easy access to some of the areas best fishing directly off the dock. Some additional amenities include free high speed WiFi, AC, fire pit, smart TVs, and community room with onsite laundry during your stay. Your own boat slip is reserved for the duration of your stay, overnight docking is permitted and encouraged. Fish right off the dock or have instant access to your boat.
If you are staying to see a Green Bay Packer game, you can take the Kewaunee County Chamber of Commerce Packer Shuttle to/from the game for $30 (check their website for availability). We are located close to Algoma’s winery, brewery, picturesque Crescent Beach, unique restaurants and art galleries. A great place to call home while you're away. We hope you enjoy your stay!
Notes:
The unit has one off-street parking (the left side of the driveway in front of the garage). Park your boat or trailer here. Please do not block the right side. During the summer season, there is plenty of parking across the street on the road. Parking in front of the house is not permitted (it is a turning zone). Also, trailer parking is available at Algoma Marina.
Please do not clean your fish inside the house. A cleaning station has been provided and is located right off the docks. It has running water and a drain. Please dispose of waste appropriately.
Due to the unpredictability of the river, children should not be left unsupervised outdoors. Life jackets should be worn at all times. Docks/slips can be unsteady, please enjoy them responsibly and safely. The shoreline is protected by riprap. For your safety, please do not climb on the rocks.
The property requires steps to enter and exit.
This unit has a dock/slip reserved for your stay. Please bring your own mooring equipment and secure your vessel properly. As part of the consideration for use and enjoyment of the boat slip, a Hold Harmless Agreement must be filled out and signed prior to use.
You can relax knowing that we are here for you during your stay. Call, text, or message 24/7. We will answer and help anyway we can.

About the host
Hosted by Joseph Webb

I've lived on the water all my life and I wanted the same exposure for my children. When I visited Algoma for the first time, I knew this was the best place for my kids to experience all that the area has to offer. Now, thanks to the amazing River House, I hopefully share what I love with my guests.
Why they chose this property
Walking distance to downtown Algoma: restaurants (I love Millie's pork rinds), bars with live music, Von Steihl winery, cider house, Pizza Bowl - bowling (they have great pizza, wings, and bloodies), and Ahnapee brewery (I'm a Mug Club Member and will try anything they have on Niro). Crescent Beach Boardwalk is an easy walk for the kids. Stop and play at the park or the sand beach.
What makes this property unique
Waterfront property with docks/slips for a boat. Easy access to the water. Instant river access and only two brides away from the lake.
