Eight restaurants within a five-minute walk. The city pier two blocks down where sailboats pass in front of Cortez fishing village — the spot where artists and photographers set up for a reason. Bridge Street's shops, cafés, and Key West-style boutiques all within easy strolling distance. Sandcastle 3 is a Gulf-front Bradenton Beach vacation rental where most guests report not needing their car for the entire stay.

The private veranda overlooks the beach directly — the right spot for morning coffee and evening sunsets over the Gulf. Ten-foot ceilings open the interior up considerably for a three-bedroom unit. The kitchen has granite countertops, maple cabinets, and stainless steel appliances — fully equipped for a week of meals at home.

Three bedrooms sleep eight. The master suite has a king bed. Both guest bedrooms have queen beds. The living room sofa bed handles the remaining guests. Two full bathrooms. An in-unit washer and dryer. Heated pool on-site. Undercover parking for two cars.

The free Anna Maria Island trolley stops nearby for exploring the full length of the island. For guests who want to fish or simply watch the water, the city pier is two blocks away — one of the better vantage points on the southern end of the island for watching the boat traffic between the Gulf and Tampa Bay.

Sandcastle 3 requires a one-week minimum stay with undercover parking for two vehicles. Not pet-friendly.

Perfection!

This unit was absolute perfection! The view of the ocean is fantastic, the decor is very tasteful and the fully equipped kitchen made it very convenient. Watching the amazing sunsets from our balcony was an added bonus we didn't expect. We were here with our family and there was plenty of room for everyone. Being right across the street or within a very short walking distance from several restaurants was a terrific perk! We didn't have to drive anywhere! We have vacationed in the Carolinas for years but Anna Maria Island has stolen our hearts and this is our new destination of choice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach view from condo was beautiful and decor in condo was tasteful. We liked how easy it was to get to the beach. The week we were there was chilly- we were told the heater/pump in the pool was not working so we didn’t use the pool. We weren’t crazy about being across the street from the shops- the music and traffic noise in the back bedrooms was tolerable but annoying- parking garage was not well lit at night. We didn’t feel the condo was worth what we paid- we have stayed in much nicer condominiums for lesser amounts. There was room for improvement in cleaning- back of spare bathroom door had finger smudging (not sure what is was but not pleasant to look at) and kitchen and spare bath had tiny red ants/bugs everywhere- if you left anything out on counter they were in it. Traps that were in unit did not resolve the issue and we did not call rental company because we didn’t want to mess with anyone coming into condo. Would also recommend getting a spatula to mix with, crab crackers for crab legs and garlic press. Overall a nice stay but would not rent unit again.

Nice to have the large upgraded shower and kitchen. Liked the height of the bathroom vanity. Having one box of kleenex would have been nice; something to keep in mind for future guests. Only downside was proximity to Moose Club next door; not much owner can do about that. Glad we didn't have anyone using front two bedrooms; noise level from Moose Club & street noise was quite loud. Not sure if it would have helped if front door had closed tighter or had better weatherstripping to make more soundproof. Very happy to have covered parking under building & loved proximity to beach. Would stay again.
