Midcentury Downtown Walk to Brewery and Warehouse Block District

Offered for your rental retreat is small, yet spacious, midcentury modern house originally built as a model home for the once local J.T. Perry Lumber Company during the 1950's. Although only 725 sq. feet, the open floor plan and vaulted ceilings create a roomy atmosphere you will enjoy. As well, the many windows flood the home with plenty of natural light during the day.

The home is conveniently located within walking distance to the Warehouse Block District of Lexington where you can find many shops, restaurants, and breweries including Minton's for daily brunch and lunch, Eppings on Eastside for fine dining, Mirror Twin Brewing & Rolling Oven for craft beer and pizza, Blue Door Smokehouse for world-renowned BBQ, VOID Sake, Willow Wine Bar and Collective, and the Brewer Dude home brewing and tap Room!

The home has two bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. There is one bathroom with most necessary amenities provided: soap, shampoo, linens, toilet paper.

The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and coffee maker and is equipped with the basics needed to cook a meal: pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, bowls.

There is a small apartment-sized washer / dryer on site. There is both driveway parking and off-street parking as well. If parking on the street, only park on the permitted side and park in the correct direction of traffic flow. The city enforces parking.

The home has been tastefully decorated with period furniture and accents and has one television with local channels and access to Netflix via a Roku TV. The home has wireless internet.

The backyard is private and features a fire pit, and four chairs to sit comfortably and enjoy the fire.

House Rules and Details:

This property is suitable for 2 to 4 people (4 persons are permitted if sleeping two to a bed).

No animals, other than Service Animals, are permitted. Service Animals are not permitted to be left alone on or in the property at any time, must be orderly, and their waste picked up and disposed of properly.

No smoking of any kind (including vaping) is permitted in the house. If smoking outside, all cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and are not to be thrown in the yard.

Please be respectful of the furniture and accessories and use the coasters provided if placing a glass on any wooden furniture, nightstands included. Please do not place hot pots or pans on the dining table or laminate counter tops. No eating or drinking in the beds.

Please be respectful of the neighbors and neighborhood if using the backyard. No parties are allowed. No guests outside of your reservation party are permitted.

Check Out: 11 am (no late check outs unless previously discussed and agreed upon prior to your arrival)

There is a lox box at the property containing the key to the house. Once your reservation is confirmed, I will send you check in instructions along with a four-digit entry code to the lock box. Although we will not meet, unless needed, I am easily accessible by phone or text between the hours of 8 am - 9 pm EST.
