Very clean, had everything we needed, lovely neighborhood, and the hosts even let us add on an extra day when I discovered that I had messed up and only booked 2 nights. Highly recommended!
We stayed here as an entry point into D.C. Shari is a fantastic host who is very responsive to inquiries. Their cozy home is in a very pleasant neighborhood with good access to the Metro. Aside from all that D.C. has to offer, Old Town Alexandria is worth your time also. Will definitely return if another D.C. visit is in our future.
Our host, Shari was wonderful! Her home is comfortable, clean and inviting! She is gracious and accommodating, quick to respond and our best VRBO experience yet! The location is perfect if you are looking to being conveniently located to Old Alexandria and more. Wish we could give Shari and her home TEN STARS!

Thank you so much! We are happy you were comfortable in our home and appreciate your kind words.
Shari was so easy to plan with. We came up for my father’s burial at Arlington Nat’l Cemetery so it was a short stay. The neighborhood is so appealing family homey district - saw lots of people walking dogs, walking with their children. Very much reminded me of when I lived in town. The convenience of everything around from convenience store numerous restaurants grocery stores just amazing. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the metro passes but that would’ve been GREAT. I will return to visit and stay longer.Thank you again for sharing your home during such a time.

Disliked: Location
Host could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We had an issue with the circuit breaker blowing and their response was excellent. Neighborhood was not what I had hoped for or expected. I am a walker and did not find the neighborhood to walk friendly. Reading light in bed room was too dim. Sofa not comfortable to sit on.

Thank you for your comments and I am glad we could quickly solve the circuit breaker issue. We do need to replace our sofa, and will be doing that soon.
I am surprised you did not find the neighborhood walkable - it is a residential area with sidewalks and wooded paths. There are directions in our Welcome Guide how to access the wooded path to the community center and how to walk through the neighborhood into Old Town, which has a beautiful waterfront.
