Nestled on a tranquil creekside acre along historic Strawberry Creek, this fully private property offers exclusive access to the home (upper and lower levels) and a private wellness yurt. Surrounded by towering pines and forest views, it’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience the magic of mountain living.



Best suited for couples, families with children 12+, and thoughtfully gathered groups seeking relaxation, connection, and time outdoors.



Before You Book, Please Note:



* 2 bedrooms are located inside the main house.

* The 3rd bedroom is a private Wellness Yurt located just outside the home.

* The upper and lower levels of the home are connected by an interior spiral staircase.

* An exterior staircase also connects both levels from outside.

* Not suitable for children under 12 or guests with mobility limitations.



While pets are welcome, owners are responsible for ensuring their pets can safely and comfortably navigate or coexist with an open spiral staircase.



Guests have access to all advertised bedrooms, living spaces, bathrooms, and amenities. Two interior rooms are reserved for owner storage and remain locked during guest stays. These areas are not part of the rental, are not advertised in any photos, and do not impact guest access or enjoyment of the property.

Please Note: The Wellness Yurt does not have a dedicated bathroom. Guests staying in the yurt have access to any of the 3 bathrooms within the main house. The lower-level King Suite bath is often the preferred option due to its convenient additional entrance from the backyard and wellness areas.

Fall asleep beneath the stars through the skylight dome, wake to birdsong and forest light, and enjoy slow mornings creekside — just a short 30-second walk from the main house.

Guest Access:

The entire 1 acre of property is yours to enjoy! Private Home with wraparound deck, creek access, hot tub access, and private access to our "Fairy Glen" fire pit lounge area. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not trespass onto their land - property lines will be identified in your welcome video.



The Neighborhood:

Located on Strawberry Creek, this land offers the soothing sounds only a seasonal creek can provide (usually running September through May, sometimes all year). Colorful foliage and apple trees ripe for the picking can be enjoyed in the fall. Come springtime, enjoy frogs croaking and the sweet scent of lilacs in the air as they bloom. Walking distance to town (20 minutes), and a short 10 minute walk to popular coffee shop Alpaca Coffee & Tea, as well as brunch & dinner spot Mile High Cafe. 2 minute drive to Idyllwild Arts Academy.



Getting Around:

You will need a car to properly enjoy Idyllwild, though you won't need it all the time. Hiking trails, restaurants, and the town square are all accessible within a 20 minute walking distance. Everything in Idyllwild is accessible within 5-10 minutes by car. 2 parking spots available for the guest space - please park where indicated to keep space clear for UPS deliveries, thank you!



Other Things to Note:

🌲 Respect Our Neighboring Land

Please do not cross beyond the line of solar lights, which mark the property boundary. Crossing onto neighboring land may disturb our neighbors — thank you for helping us preserve peaceful relationships in this special place.



⏰ Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM (Firm)

We have a scheduled cleaning team and are unable to accommodate late check-outs. A $50 per hour fee will apply for departures after 11:00 AM to cover rescheduling costs.



👥 Approved Guests Only

All guests must be included in your reservation request and approved prior to arrival. No unapproved visitors or overnight guests are permitted.



🐾 Dog-Friendly (Up to 2 Dogs | $100 Fee)

We welcome well-behaved, potty-trained dogs.



Please note:

• Dogs must be friendly and well-socialized

• Dogs must be on leash outdoors at all times

• Dogs may not be left unattended at the property

• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or accidents

• Please include your pet in your reservation so the pet fee is applied correctly



🌿 Smoking Policy

THC / 420 is permitted outdoors only, away from shared spaces, and must be extinguished safely due to wildfire risk.

No indoor smoking of any kind, including tobacco or cannabis. Additional cleaning fees will apply for smoke odors indoors.



🔥 Fire Safety

Our mountain community is highly fire-sensitive. Please fully extinguish all smoking materials and use fire features responsibly.



🎵 Quiet Enjoyment Only

No parties.

No loud outdoor music.

Please help us maintain the peaceful atmosphere our guests and neighbors cherish.



🧼 Care for the Space

Please wash dishes before departure and treat the home with care. If something is stained, broken, or damaged, simply let us know — honest communication is always appreciated.



🚗 Parking

Ample parking for up to 4 vehicles.



❄️ Weather / Power Outages

Mountain weather, snow, and occasional power shutoffs can occur without warning. If roads remain open, reservations remain non-refundable under our cancellation policy. Emergency lanterns and alternative heat sources are provided during outages.



🗝️ Owner Storage Areas

By booking, guests acknowledge that two designated owner-storage rooms remain locked and are not included in the rental. All advertised guest spaces remain fully accessible.
