Our stay was wonderful. Pool guy came the second day and cleaned the pool. The house is so welcoming. The pool was refreshing. The boardwalk is nice and we saw lots of fish. We would totally stay here again. Pet friendly also.

Although we had a wonderful and comfortable stay, we did have a few issues.:-Upon arrival, we discovered that the screen for the pool was not intact. This made use of the pool area difficult. The pool was dirty and filled with bugs. Sitting in the outside area resulted in multiple mosquito bites.-The kitchen counters had a sticky film, and we needed to clean them.-Most of the glasses needed to be washed before use.-The kitchen knives were extremely dull to the point that they could be dangerous.-We also had to thoroughly clean the Black Stone grill in order to use it.For the amount being charged, our expectations were much higher for cleanliness and usability.Thank you

During this stormy season we had some extensive wind that must have blown out the pool screen the day you arrived — I was actually there that day and it was intact. I wish you'd let us know right away so we could have fixed it for you immediately; that's exactly the kind of thing we want to address in real time, not after the fact. We're also sorry about the mosquitoes and dirty pool that resulted, and the state of the kitchen counters, glasses, knives, and grill — that's not the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's disappointing to hear it fell short during your stay. On the glasses and knives specifically, they do dull over time, and we'll look into replacing them. We were happy to have the home ready for an early check-in, and we thank you for the detailed feedback — it helps us catch and fix these things going forward.
