Property was very clean, well managed and had everything we needed. The host was very attentive and responsive and the area is adorable! It is an old house so expect that, but was a very comfortable stay!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the residence. The host demonstrated exceptional hospitality and was highly responsive in all communications, even proactively checking in to confirm my comfortable arrival. Access to the property was straightforward and efficient. The decor, while understated, effectively created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Furthermore, the location offers convenient access to several excellent breakfast establishments. I recommend this place & already plan to book again.
I stayed with my daughter for a whole month. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive, communicated well and answered all our questionsI would def. book it again
Such a cute home & very spacious on the inside. Stocked with all the essentials. She is old but very well maintained & updated to a modern feel. The only reason for 4 stars is the location. I had read other reviews that said it was a “mixed bag” of folks and this was very accurate. I won’t say I didn’t feel safe, but it’s very sketchy, and I could see where one would feel unsafe if you aren’t familiar with that type of community (which I am). I’ve never been to Jacksonville before, but I had heard not great things. The heart of the city and area is very run down, to a certain extent. The property made it feel safer, I will say. It’s a historical district, after all, so these things are almost to be expected (I live in a historic area as well, and it’s the same feel in some parts). The beaches are beautiful & there are lots of great places to eat. It’s a bit more up scale towards the beaches. The host was amazing- checking in on us & ensuring we had clear directions. It’s pet friendly (property & area) which was a plus for us. As a note if you’ve made it this far in the review- be aware of dog rules on the beaches. Because of the time of year we visited, we were only able to take our dogs to a certain beach (Hannah park). It was worth it though because you have to pay to enter so it’s a bit less crowded.
