JJ's LAKEVIEW CHALET
The entry into this fantastic home features a large mud room for all your gear. Another door leads to the main living area to an unforgettable view straight ahead through the large window that runs nearly the length of the room. Knotty pine cabin walls and ceilings, paired with light-colored plush carpet, naturally create a warm and inviting vibe. The dark leather couches are perfect for gazing at the Lake or streaming your favorite series on the Smart TV. Grab a game off the built-in shelving or curl up with a book in the reading nook next to the River Rock fireplace. The open layout flows right into the kitchen and dining area, where multiple windows surround the expandable dining table, which accommodates up to 10 guests.
The pink and green hues of the granite tiles throughout the kitchen complement the stainless steel of the new gas range, large refrigerator, and quiet dishwasher. This fully stocked kitchen incl. all the basics plus an espresso machine, mini waffle maker, and air fryer. Past the kitchen, you will find 2 rooms; one laundry and one full bathroom w/shower.
The opposite side of the lower-level houses 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom in between. A queen bed with a touch of vintage greens to the right and a unique King bed with Lake views to the left.
Head upstairs to find 2 more bedrooms and the 3rd full bathroom. The bedroom to the left is naturally illuminated by the large skylight over the wooden, pyramid bunk bed with a full-sized bed on the lower and a twin bed on top. There is plenty of shelving and a trunk for storage, but not a proper closet.
Across the upstairs landing, we've saved the best for last! The luxuriant primary suite utilizes 3 large windows and an angled ceiling to perfectly frame views of the Lake from the plush, 4-post Cal King bed. Unpack your bags into the repurposed, standing closet, get cozy on the medium-sized couch, or send one last email from the vintage desk. Never get cold feet in this ensuite as you step onto the blue, heated tile floors and a heated towel off the rack, on your way to the double vanity sinks. The expansive skylight to the left is centered over the tile-encased jetted tub and across from the Steam shower with 2 shower heads and 2 built-in benches. A grand suite indeed!
Even the attached 2-car garage with EV charger has a lake view! Outback, a Mini Pickle Ball Court, and Cornhole to enjoy (seasonally). Take a short walk to the Regional Park or stroll downhill to the sandy beaches. Almost equal distance to ski Northstar or Palisades.

Great house, perfect location, and great views! House was clean and well stocked, and the hot tub is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and lake views. We'll be back for sure...Highly recommend staying here!
Beautiful home! Tons of amenities, spacious, comfortable, convenient, and well appointed. Perfect spot for family vacation. Would recommend highly and look forward to returning!
Cabin was a home away from Home. Very cozy and had a beautiful view. Hot fun was amazing. We were so happy that the place looked just like the pictures. Great communication and the town was just what we needed. A small neat little town surrounded by beauty. Great restaurants. We have no complaints. Definitely will be back

Tahoe North Rentals.
We love the location of this property and the amenities the property includes. The lake view was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the wonderful weather and views. The house was well stocked, very clean and comfortable.
Nice sized property, accommodating to large groups. The only downside is the smaller rooms get really hot - the hosts have fans for this reason - but they still were uncomfortable throughout the night. The location is prime for north Tahoe amenities. I would stay here again.
Clean and comfortable with a great view of the lake. Kitchen stocked with real pots, pans, and utensils. Not Walmart junk like most rentals. No regrets.
We had a wonderful time staying here for a weekend getaway! The host was communicative and helped us learn about great spots to visit near the home. This home is in the perfect location, with gorgeous views of Tahoe from the house, a Safeway a few minutes away and an excellent beach a minute away. The kitchen was relatively well stocked with pots/pans/bowls, spices, and some condiments in the fridge. We used the grill with no issues. We felt the house was clean and enjoyed our time. Would be happy to visit again! Thank you!

Reviewer Comments:
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. The home was spacious and all the linens were very fresh and clean. I especially liked the steam shower in the master bathroom and jacuzzi were extra nice! The only suggestion is to have the deck swept prior to the guest arrival or provide a blower.
Our family was very pleased with this property. We (five adults) were comfortable and had plenty of room so as not to get in each other's way. Two of the five adults were elderly, but they were able to navigate the property with no problems. I was pleasantly surprised with the kitchen! I've never stayed in a Vrbo with such a well-stocked kitchen (utensils, pans, and appliances). It was a warm week when we were there, but fans were delivered the same day we requested them. Thankful to have found this home that met all our needs.
I know this home is newer on the vacation rental market and with only a few reviews, I was a bit reticent to book. The home itself was clean and has absolutely stunning views! There were so many issues, I feel the next renters need to be aware: 1. The kitchen, while stocked, is an absolute mess of old items from someone's home. I've never seen a silverware drawer, or any kitchen drawer for that matter, such a mess. You'll also note a picture of spices and such on the listing. But, when we got there, the bottles of olive oil and spray were completely empty. Someone must have used it all and put back an empty bottle. 2. The downstairs bathroom was unusable thanks to the fact that a mouse was living in the toilet. We told them of this issue because we really needed the extra bathroom, but the property manager simply told us that the pest control folks were busy and they couldn't get there during our stay. My husband had to put down a glue trap but then the poor thing was still in the bathroom stuck to the glue trap on the morning we were leaving. 3. They have some sort of pack rat living in the walls of this place. The scratching was constant and really annoying! 4. They do not have a locking mechanism on their bear box. We know how to use bear boxes and we have footage from our Rivian of a bear at 1 am breaking into the box.5. The propane tank was completely empty when we arrived. The property management should be checking these things before new guests arrive.

Hi Allison,
We’re glad you found the home clean and enjoyed the beautiful views—it’s truly a special spot. This summer has been an unusually active season for critters around Tahoe, affecting many properties. While we made every effort to schedule pest control during your stay, they were unfortunately fully booked. The home is on a regular pest control plan, and we’ve flagged your concerns to ensure they’re addressed on the next visit. The “pack rat” you heard is most likely mice, which are common in the area this time of year. We’re also working on reorganizing the kitchen to make things tidier for future guests. During busy seasons with back-to-back bookings, dishware and utensils can sometimes get a little disorganized, but we’re committed to keeping things in good shape. Although cooking oils and sprays aren’t provided as part of the rental, we’ll remove any empty bottles going forward to avoid confusion.Regarding the propane tank, it wasn’t full at check-in, but our team member came out quickly to refill it and delivered a second new tank for your use. The process took a little longer than usual because we couldn’t retrieve the old tank from out front as we typically do, but we’re glad it was resolved promptly. Finally, this is the first time we’ve heard of a bear breaking into the bear box, and we’re actively looking into adding a locking mechanism to prevent any future visits from curious wildlife. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope that you still enjoyed Tahoe.
