The home appeared and smelled clean when we arrived . The upstairs room had beautiful views. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The bedding did not appear to have been washed, so we had to wash it ourselves before going to sleep. The upstairs bedroom was also extremely hot, very hard mattress with a dent in it, making it too uncomfortable to sleep there, so we ended up sleeping downstairs.We specifically booked this stay to relax and enjoy the outdoor space, but the outdoor furniture was very worn and there appeared to be mold on the outdoor amenities, which made it difficult to enjoy the area.The location and views were great, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the bedding, temperature upstairs, and condition of the outdoor areas kept this from being the relaxing getaway we had hoped for.

Check in and out was very easy and we were even able to check in a little early. Location is great, close to many shops and restaurants. Saw elk or deer every day we were exploring the neighborhood. Overall a good stay; furniture and appliances in good shape. Possible nobody has been in the house in a bit though as there were many spiderwebs inside and around the doors we had to clean before using.Main downside was outdoor area where furniture is falling apart. Deck has some holes and is in rough shape overall. Main reason for booking this property was the fenced in yard but it was in much worse shape than the pictures as it was very overgrown which made the usable area much smaller.

Amazing Cabin in Pine

Great place to stay. The cabin was immaculate, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Great spaces to relax, with great views. Definitely a place to stay if you’re doing anything in or around the Payson area.

Pine getaway

My family LOVED this getaway! The house was amazingly comfortable and met all of our needs. The views were unbelievable!!! We LOVED sitting on the deck enjoying the views and the amazing weather! All the beds were comfortable, but the master bed was the best - SO comfortable - wanted to take it home with me!. The location was perfect for our adventures. Would highly recommend this house for your next Pine getaway!

This home was in a great location with views of wildlife and kind neighbors. The home was clean and comfortable. The upstairs gets a little warm since it’s summer but there are a few fans and that made it comfortable. The only things we noticed are the patio decks upstairs and downstairs could really use some work or replacement. There are several boards that need to be fixed and since it rained a lot for several days, those pieces of wood became soft and dangerous to walk on the decks. If you bring a pet, the decks are not safe for them to walk on. Also, the cushions on the patio chairs upstairs and downstairs were not removed so they were soaking wet from the rain when we checked in. The patio lights don’t seem to work properly and so it was dark on the patio at night. Also, do not eat anything in the pantry. We found pancake syrup that expired in 2024. It felt like the owners don’t invest much time into the home which was disappointing for such a beautiful home and area. However, the fireplaces worked great, the beds were all very comfortable, the tv worked great, the washer and dryer did too. The kit canez could use an update but worked well. Last but not least, the home really needs to be sprayed for pest control. There were several bugs around the home and a giant poisonous spider in the upstairs bathroom that we managed to exterminate. Aside from those things, the home is nice for a getaway.

High Mountain Retreat

We spent a beautiful weekend in the quiet above the valley. Great views, a nice cool breeze and very comfortable accommodations. Host was able to get us in last minute (which was very much appreciated!). Elk seen nearby every day in the morning and at dusk. There were only 2 of us, but it was large enough for many more. Loved the high bed in the master. We are VRBO regulars, and we will definitely stay here again!

Great property in quiet neighborhood

My family of 3 stayed for 3 nights in this clean cozy cabin. The yard was fully enclosed so our dog could run free. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. There was a nice fire pit and fireplace inside. The furniture was very nice. The kitchen is small but had everything to prepare several simple meals. The stairs to the upstairs room are so steep that we didn't even use it, be careful. Overall this was a great experience for my family.

Annual getaway and 1st time at this property.House was not in the appropriate condition to have guests and these issues were never disclosed .There were cobwebs throughout the interior The oven door was broken offThe towel rack in downstairs bathroom was broken off.Were told to use firewood by front door yet non was provided.

To start with the water heater was not working. I had to repair it myself. The WIFI never worked the whole time we were there. We didn't come to watch TV but it would have been nice to have if we wanted. We used our phone data for the entire stay. I had to clean the disgusting grill grates and catch tray as it looked like it had never been done before, and I had to replace the empty propane tank. The deck floor had large holes in it with severe soft spots. I had to put rocks over the holes to keep my dog from having a leg fall through. Many spots the wood would sag, and the screws would stick out and poke you so you had to keep shoes on. Pulled dishes out to use and one still had a chunk of food on it. Patio furniture which consists of four old chairs and a worn-out table needs to be thrown away. Cobwebs in the windows and all around outside. Just be aware it is nothing like the pictures on the VRBO site! Oh, and bring a fly swatter as flies come out of the woodwork in the kitchen. Really. I killed at least 60 in the 3 days we were there, only in the kitchen. The manager made it right in the end for all the repairs I did myself but that does not get my vacation weekend back!

We loved our stay here! The location is perfect, up the hill from the Main Street but a very quick drive to get our fave pizza at Old County Inn. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze and the fully-fenced yard was great as we had our pup.The elk were everywhere and we enjoyed them, too, especially the babies! Will stay again if we return to Pine!
