I was traveling with an elderly woman and two small children and the owner unexpectedly turned off the A/C in the Florida heat (have documentation to admitting to turning off the A/C) . Found a large amount of cockroaches after the 2nd night stay. Tried to find a resolution with the owner. Took a significant amount of time for them to respond. Terrible experience and customer service.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, I would like to clarify that the A/C issue was not reported until the last night of the reservation, around 11:30 PM. As soon as we were notified, we responded and took steps to address the situation. Our house rules clearly ask guests not to manually manipulate the thermostat or leave doors open while the A/C is running, as this can damage the system. We have documentation, including photos and videos, showing repeated thermostat adjustments and doors being left open, which contributed to the A/C problem. Regarding the pest concern, the home is professionally cleaned and serviced by pest control regularly. After this complaint, we had the property inspected and no evidence of an infestation or nests was found. We take every guest concern seriously and always try to resolve issues quickly and respectfully, but it is also important that house rules are followed to protect the property and ensure a good experience for all guests.
