The house was in excellent condition and the owners were awesome to work with. Great place to go and relax.Super quiet neighborhood and the view was outstanding. We will be staying again within the next year!!
This is the perfect place for relaxing & unwinding - the views are amazing. It's easy to find, the neighborhood is quiet and it's close to everything but far enough to enjoy some solitude. The house itself is very clean, comfortable and has literally everything needed. We cooked most of our meals there and found the kitchen very well stocked with all the essentials. The hosts were excellent at communication and since there was no one there before our stay, let us check in a few hours early. They have a very complete binder with nearby attractions, restaurant menus etc and everything in the house is labeled and easy to use. We didn't go down to the dock or use any of the outdoor features but they look amazing.
Wonderful place to stay! My Husband and I had coffee on the deck overlooking the lake every morning and we made s'mores and grilled out in the evenings. Everything was organized and labeled. We cooked almost every day and had everything we needed to make meals for a family of 5. Truly you could show up to this property with clothes, a tooth brush and tooth paste and be set with everything you need. There were towels for showering and swimming, extra blankets and pillows etc. the check in and check out process was seamless and the owners were super helpful and communicative. It was also a short drive into Coeur d’alene from the property. We spent several days there and even traveled to Montana to hike during our stay. One of the best vacations we’ve had
My husband and I area avid outdoor enthusiasts, so North Idaho is the place for us! Not only do we get our fill of cycling, hiking, water sports, but we love the people here. My parents loved to make an annual road trip through the Pacific Northwest. While my dad loved to look at the beautiful scenery, my mom liked to look at real estate. This home was the gem that she fell in love with and saw as a place that the family could enjoy. We did enjoy it, though not as often as we would have liked. It has become a place that we call our "home away from home" until we can one day make it our permanent home. Though we don't get here as often, turning it into a short term rental has allowed us to meet so many wonderful people from so many places and has been such a blessing to share with others.

What makes this property unique
A few of our guests have commented that, although they enjoyed going to CDA or Hayden for meals or activities, they loved coming back home to Hauser lake. It is just close enough and far enough from the city to be convenient yet peaceful. Public beach and boat launch is just a 5 minute drive for boating activities, or may land at seasonal dock in front of the house.
