Our fully serviced and furnished long term rental is located just minutes from Downtown Vancouver. We offer stylish, comfortable, spacious and family friendly 2 bedroom accommodation right in the heart of Kitsilano, Vancouver’s premiere neighbourhood.
Our Avalon Suite is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom apartment located on a quiet tree-lined residential street which can sleep up to 6 guests plus a small child in a crib.
Our self-catering guest suite offers all the amenities of a comfortable home and is located just steps away from restaurants, cafes, bakeries, organic grocery stores, yoga studios, book stores, spas, fitness centres and direct bus links to downtown Vancouver and UBC. Some of Vancouver’s most beautiful beaches are only a short stroll away and we are surrounded by green space and parks, yet only 150m from shopping on Broadway
We offer keyless private entry (door code supplied upon booking) and a private patio at the suite entry as well as a child friendly garden with fully enclosed trampoline.
The suite offers a queen bed in each of the 2 bedrooms and a queen sofa bed in the living room as well as a gas fire place to add to the cozy ambience during the colder months. Our suite kitchen is newly renovated and stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware and we welcome our guests with fresh fruit, tea/coffee preparation supplies and milk.
We have been offering award winning service and have consistently been voted "Best Vancouver Accommodation" on Tripadvisor.

Great place to stay.

I and two girlfriends were here for a week. Julia's is a lovely host. The suite is super clean and well equipped. It is Located in a quite neighborhood a short walk to lots of great coffee shops, restaurants, small markets and easy connection to public transportation. I would book here again. Thanks Julia.

Friendly and Helpful Hosts and a Comfortable Suite

We spent our 14 day quarantine in this suite and found it to be well equipped, quiet and comfortable. We had everything we needed and Julia and Michael made us feel welcome as we returned to Canada.

Perfect location, perfect suite, perfect amenities, perfect host! What more to say other than stay here if you want to arrive and relax and be central to everything. Will be returning again and again. So happy to have found Julia and her amazing place!

Christmas in Vancouver

We had a marvelous stay! Julia and Mike made us feel so welcome. We arrived to bouquets of fresh pine with holiday ornaments and beautiful potted poinsettias. The house is so cozy and decorated with a Scandinavian flare which we just loved. It’s very crisp and clean. We had everything we could need and then some. The house is only a short walk from the beaches, restaurants, and shopping. I highly recommend this for your home away from home needs.

Definitely Worth Another Visit

Heritage Suite is beautifully appointed, clean and a lovely space to go into. Hosts, Julia and Mike, couldn’t be more hospitable and helpful, but at the same time, giving you your own space. The property is well located, near to coffee shops and restaurants, bus routes etc. it was so nice, after a long journey, to arrive and find coffee, tea, creamer, fruit platter and beautiful flowers to welcome you. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming and cozy cottage like on quiet neighborhood.

Very well appointed rental with comfortable beds in fairly spacious room with ample closet space. Pullout sofa in living area right in front of gas fireplace and TV. Kitchen is very clean, with all the amenities that included coffee tea and fruit basket. Bathroom has full shower with soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, soft white bath and hand towels. Washer and dryer came in very handy for cleaning our clothes. The suite is located within very short driving to Safeway, boutique coffee shops and bakeries. We worked out at the nearby Kitsilano community center gym which has a day use fee that lets you shower (bring your own towels and toiletries and lock). We had no trouble with getting a parking spot on the street. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed the suite. Nice quiet neighbourhood , yet great area for accessing amenities and services. It was conveniently located for us and our reasons for being in Vancouver. All the items we needed were in the kitchen. Very clean and just like the photos. Having a washer and dryer available in the unit was great. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the accommodation to some friends and family.

Perfect location, quiet street, cosy atmosphere, the landlady was always available

We stayed for 1 week and felt at home and at ease immediately! The lovely garden was inviting. Parking was ideal. But we could also reach shops, bus station and the beach on foot. We enjoyed very much and will come back!!

Very clean, excellent location, a great home base for our trip

We were impressed with the cleanliness and functionality of the rental. The children, age 6, 8 and 11 gave it a big thumbs up for the trampoline! To our benefit, they could play safely in the fenced back yard while we prepared to go out for the day. We had our car, but it was much less hassle to hop on the bus or sky train to see the sights.

Lovely little unit!

The unit was perfect for us being a family of 4! Location was perfect for us! Had comfortable beds, everything you need to make a quick breakfast and run out to enjoy the city. I would recommend this unit for others and hoping next time we come to Vancouver this place is available!

Great place, great location

Very nice suite in a great location in the Kitsilano neighborhood of Vancouver. Close to shops, beach, bus connections etc. Suite was spacious and well equipped. Sometimes a bit noisy with overhead but nothing too problematic. Very kind owners, great help when I wanted to book and needed some advice and very attentive during our stay. Certainly a place I would recommend to friends or relatives going to Vancouver.

We made a great choice!

Super location with close and quick assess to city. The Avalon suite is wonderful. Well thought out decorated suite, which was comfortable, in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed Kitsalano and had some good neighborhood meals. Would highly recommend.

Studio Suite Extraordanaire in Vancouver

We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay @ Avalon Guest Suites in Vancouver, BC - Canada in May - June 2017. There were two of us visiting for 7 nights and we were given the option and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their " Studio Suite". This suite is located alongside the Coach House but is separate and has its own entrance. This absolutely lovely suite had all that we needed and more !!! A super comfortable king-size bed with luxury linens, a well outfitted kitchenette, a sweet sitting area and a spa-like mini bathroom with a large size shower. The entire suite was immaculately clean and fresh. The welcome fruit basket was as fresh as could be and a wonderful treat. The location of the Avalon Guest Suites is fantastic - in an idyllic, safe neighborhood and close to shops and restaurants by walking. There was also ample available street parking if required. Most of all, the owner /host would be our reason to book a return visit. She is beyond gracious and welcoming. Our queries and emails were answered so promptly and she was always available if needed. Our stay in the Studio Suite was like having a "home away from home" that allowed us to enjoy our vacation daily knowing that at the end of each busy day we had our " little oasis" to return to each evening. We would and have recommended this property choice to our family and friends to stay at while in Vancouver.
