We loved our stay and the property. Spectacular views, lots of wildlife, lovely accommodations, and we really enjoyed having a full kitchen. Wonderful stay, even in the rain, look forward to visiting again in the future.

This is a well-kept property with a thoughtful host. The cabin is connected to their main house by a breezeway and sits right off of highway 16. I wouldn’t consider it secluded or private as the other reviews mentioned. There is road noise at all times which is muffled in the cabin but is quite loud when you sit in the yard. Thankfully the deer and wildlife didn’t seem to mind. The host was very responsive and kind. The proximity to Kerrville and Fredericksburg was very convenient.

This was the perfect getaway; a truly special place! Cari was attentive and an excellent host. The cottage has a beautiful view of the backyard and creek. We saw dozens of turkey and deer in the backyard. My family also enjoyed swimming in the creek. We'll definitely stay here when visiting Kerrville in the future.

Possibly the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. -Immaculate guest house. -Especially spotless kitchen and bath. -Well appointed with all essentials and extras. -Comfortable bed, extra pillows and blankets. -Cari, the host never took more than a few minutes to answer my (endless) questions. Thank you for your patience :)-Even though the owners reside on the property, the way the guest cottage is situated makes it feel very private and secluded. **Best for last: the views from anywhere on this property make you feel like you’re in a slice of natural paradise. The creek is so welcoming and refreshing. The yard is perfectly landscaped. You could easily walk barefoot with no problem. What a gem! We are thankful to have found this beautiful place and that they choose to share it!

A True Texas Gem

We had such a great stay twice. On our way to and from west TX. I love Kerrville and this did not disappoint. The property is immaculate, comfortable and beautiful. Plus, we got a stunning lightning bug show from the live oaks while we sat on the porch. The property has everything you need and is built exceptionally well. We stayed with our 6 month old daughter and had a wonderful time. This gorgeous cottage is now our go to place to stay when we stop in Kerrville.

The property was very nice. Scenery was lovely. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening and watching the deer go to the feeder across the creek. Also great for star gazing and firefly watching at night. The location was convenient to Kerrville and Fredericksburg, right off highway 16. The only downside was there was traffic noise but it wasn’t too bad. Overall, I would book the house again, thinking about spring break when it’s cooler.
