The cabin was well appointed and lovely with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Host was responsive and gracious. Very comfortable location with a gorgeous little yard and patio. Hoping to stay here again.
Affordable and right next to a beautiful lake. Was a wonderful stay in the Fall! Hosts were very responsive and accommodating; will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Thanks for the review and for taking such good care of our home
We chose this cabin so we could easily access friends in Essex, Burlington, and the causeway. It's close enough to everything we care about be it friends, family, beaches, or hiking/biking/walking.
The house was clean, comfortable and had a great personality! The lake view and short walk to the beach was our favorite! I would recommend for a close stay to Burlington where you can feel like you are miles away from it all!
Loved everything about this cute and cozy cottage. Kitchen was well stocked to cook both breakfast and dinner. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplace and view of the lake. Hope to stay again!

We had a great sister vacation at Claire’s cottage. We were right on the water and close to downtown Burlington. The cottage and yard was filled with beautiful whimsical pieces and the birds were a joy to watch!
We fell in love with this adorable cottage with a gorgeous view and location by the lake. We could walk down to the lake and enjoy the sunset or stay on the porch and relax. It is a short drive to Burlington, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended! We hope to come back soon!

Thank you for your review. Would love to have you back anytime.
This was the perfect place for a little weekend getaway to visit my college kid. Only about 15 min drive to UVM campus. Aside from being so close to the beach/lake (perfect place to watch the sunset!), the back patio provides a lovely, quiet place to enjoy dinner. There’s an enclosed porch to chill, or sit around the island in the kitchen or living room with a fireplace.
Our host was very responsive and super helpful. I’m bookmarking this place bc I’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommend!!
This was a lovely little beach house cottage in Vermont. The location was good as Burlington was only a 15 minute drive away. The cottage gets a little cold this time of year (October) so I would recommend using the fireplace for heat at night. Also, the shower is a little small so that is something to consider if you need/want a lot of shower space. Otherwise, the cabin was nice and it was in a good location.

There is a heater available for the colder nights. Don’t hesitate to use it. Heat at the touch of a button!
Beds were comfortable and
the 3 season porch was a great place to unwind. We enjoyed the view of the water from the house. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes. At night we could hear tree frogs calling on the other side of the road, which was fun.
There's also a park nearby with walking trails, and a grocery store close by. Zachary's Pizza is also close and we had an excellent pizza there. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Burlington. A very relaxing place to stay, so glad we found it!
This is a lovely cottage type home on Lake Champlain. We found the owner to be easy to communicate with, via text, and the check in seamless. The location is quite nice and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck in the sunshine. Bird feeders brought a vast array of birds to watch and listen to. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The wifi signal was strong and there were board games and puzzles to enjoy.
Although a short drive from the center of Burlington this was a perfect place to be to attend UVM graduation.
I highly recommend this rental.

I appreciate your review. We love our cottage and enjoy sharing it from time to time.
Enjoyed are stay at the camp. The outside flowers, bird feeders and deck were peaceful. Had fun watching the birds feed and the chipmunks and squirrels trying to get to the feeders. Our property manager/owner was very good at communicating with us.The only detriment was the beach. Due to the spring thaw and flooding there was numerous amount of driftwood in the sand near shore; which made it difficult for wading. I was told by a couple of locals this was due to the rivers that flow into the lake. Small children would have problems, although we didn't have any.We would recommend this rental to other family members and friends.

Charming little cottage, removed but very convenient to Burlington and Colchester
This was so perfect for our family. It was an EXCELLENT alternative to high priced hotels. We were in the area for a college graduation, and we spent one night enjoying the fire pit! Lovely views, comfy accommodations, lovely, lovely host who couldn't have been more gracious and accessible. This is a great place for an extended family or a family with kids-a real homelike getaway. I would definitely rent again. When hotels in the area are so ridiculously high priced, this is really something to consider if you have more than one hotel room full of people. It fit the 6 of us comfortably and there was interesting artwork all around! Thanks, Claire, we loved it.

We bought this place so that I could spend summers with my girls that were 3 and 5 at the time. They had a wonderful time at the lake and now they come back with their children. All our friends and relatives still remember the wonderful days spent at the Vermont cottage.
Why they chose this property
This property is ideal because of the lake views and it's proximity to Burlington Vt. Parents have come here while visiting their teens at UVM or Champlain college. You can do as much or as little as you want during your stay.
