Located less than a 5 min. drive from Hook Head, the oldest operating lighthouse in the world, a stone’s throw from Slade Harbour & in sight of Loftus Hall. Surrounded by the fertile farmland of Wexford this charming 3 bedroom home is ideal for friends or families to enjoy the beaches, coastal walks, history and culture of the Southeast. A 20 min. drive will take you to Ballyhack car ferry to explore Co. Waterford and beyond. Enjoy family/friend time in this open plan, kitchen, dining, and living area with French doors to the patio and garden. The ground floor also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other with twin bunkbeds. Upstairs is the main bedroom with queen bed, en suite bathroom, ample storage and a desk for your convenience. In addition to the main bedroom, is a second living room with panoramic views from Hook Head, to Dunmore East across the estuary and Loftus Hall. Outside, enjoy the fully enclosed garden from sunrise to sunset, breakfast or a glass of wine on the comfortable patio set. The garages are private, but please feel free to store bikes, kayaks, etc., under the leanto. Find relaxation and tranquillity at the tip of the Southeast!

Cannot wait to come back here and wish we could have stayed longer! Paula was extremely helpful and responsive, giving us ideas of walks we could do from the house, she's definitely very familiar with the area. The house was very clean and full of light from gorgeous huge windows with great views. Seems like a perfectly sleepy and quaint little road, we loved walking down to the Hook Head Lighthouse for breakfast. An ideal quiet coastal getaway!

A charming coastal oasis! If we could stay here forever we would. We absolutely loved how open and bright the house felt, and how quiet the surrounding area was. Stunning views and the house is very accessible to beautiful countryside and coastal walks. Paula gave us incredible recommendations for food and places to check out during our stay, and elevated our experience in this town. We hope to return someday and will absolutely be staying here again if we do!

Thank you for alerting me to a minor maintenance issue. The house is in a very rural area, set back back from the road, entirely enclosed by either wall, fence or hedge, with both light filtering and blackout blinds.

Why they chose this property

Hook Head holds a special place in my heart and now in the hearts of my children. It is where I spent many hours exploring as a child on Sunday afternoon family outings. Getting an ice cream cone in Campile and trying to make it last all the way to the lighthouse!
