This reimagined working barn, originally built in 1890, has 2 cozy bedrooms with a king and queen bed, perfect for a relaxing stay. With outstanding design, gourmet kitchen, wet bar, soaking tub, spacious showers and quality linens, guests will begin to unwind as soon as they walk through the door. The amenities were meticulously thought out to help you relax and feel at home, when you are away from home. Whether you're exploring the city or simply unwinding indoors, this amazing property is the ideal retreat for your trip. Enjoy the serenity of the flowering garden and please feel free to pick some blackberries or strawberries for breakfast. Relax on the second floor porch after a long day of hiking or sightseeing and enjoy all that our lovely neighborhood has to offer. Close to downtown, Colorado College, the interstate and area hospitals, the central location can't be beat. Please note that this property is in the back corner of our primary property. You may see us from time to time, but your privacy comes first!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! Everything was spotless, luxurious, modern, comfortable and so very peaceful. Caren was an incredible hostess and went above and beyond to make our stay special! Spectacular Stay!!!

Came to meet up with both our Military sons. This house is absolutely gorgeous. Inside and out!! The garden area is meticulously maintained. Flowers galore. The inside of the house is stunning. The whole house was completely stocked with many small details and touches. The beds were so comfy- we all slept so good!!! This house is located in the most beautiful area EVER! Gorgeous place to stay. Home owners are very attentive and clearly make the stay wonderful. I can’t wait to come back.

Welcome! My husband and I are originally from Oklahoma, with detours in Florida and North Carolina. University of Oklahoma, University of Florida and Duke University are our alma matters. We have lived in Colorado Springs for 23 years now and have 4 grown children. We love the easy access to the mountains, hiking, biking and skiing. We can't wait to share it with you.

Why they chose this property

Our historic neighborhood has the easy feel of a small town in the middle of a big city. Our neighbors love to stop by and chat on an evening walk and there is a camaraderie here that is hard to find anywhere else. It has wonderful access to Colorado College, local hospitals, the olympic training center, I25, and hiking and biking. We would never leave it!

What makes this property unique

This property has a beautiful style and build that it hard to describe until you are in it. The second level living space with lofted ceiling can't be beat! The carefully thought out design and product is meant to take care of your every need
