A Really Special Property

Such a great villa that exceeded all our expectations. Great layout with a lovely range of outdoor areas to enjoy. Everything felt new and super clean. Incredible uninterrupted views of the ocean and the light at sunset was simply stunning. A really special place to stay, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and hope that we can return one day.

Fantastic place

This place was really fantastic. We have stayed at several places but this one beats them all. The view from the house is stunning, the house itself is modern and really beautiful. It had all we needed. Great to have a small shop and a padel court just nearby. We’ll be back!

Beautiful Villa

This is our third time in the villa but the first since the renovation, which has only made the villa even better. Beautiful views, very modern and clean property, we will happily return in the future. Great stay, beautiful place great views.

The house is certainly spectacular and very well maintained, we had a great overall experience. One suggestion for chillier months of the year heating the pool would be a plus, the charge of 300 extra euros for turning the heating on for 3 days seemed a bit excessive, that is equivalent to almost 20% of the total price of the stay !. Other than that, greatly recomended.

Amazing Villa

This is the second time we have stayed at this villa and it is even better this time with the improvements that have been made. We cannot fault the villa, everything is of the highest standard. The pool is amazing as well as the views from the villa. Being able to park my car in the garage was an added bonus.

Perfect week to celebrate 60th birthday

Beautiful villa and position. Restaurant within easy walking distance. Lovely pool and being able to have it heated made it a perfect temperature. Unable to initially connect to wifi as information given wasn't correct, but our queries with this & where to empty the bins were answered very quickly.

Beautiful villa with amazing views

The villa was absolutely beautiful with so many lovely spots for hanging out. The pool area was amazing, great loungers and parasols for lazing around on. The view from the terrace outside the kitchen is stunning. It was very easy to arrange to get keys etc and all communication was fab. We ate in the restaurant at El Portet a couple of nights which was pleasant. But you need a car to get around and to beaches etc.

Amazing 5 star property

You will not beat this property, its views and the overall architect designed inside and outside features. Everything is recently supplied top end furniture throughout and many balconies, 4 beds rooms, bathrooms etc. Beautiful pool and pool facilities chairs loungers etc. Special beach bar area for entertaining.. Huge kitchen, good aircon.. One of the best properties around, you need a car for restaurants shopping etc. Lots of stairs as the property has 4 levels.

The house was incredible! Literally hanging over the Mediterranean Sea. We went with 2 other couples.There are 2 delicious restaurants within walking distance that we ate at several times. Also did a Paella cooking class in Alicante where we visited the biggest market in Spain. Took the train to Valencia one day. We are already planning when I can come back. Check in with Anja was very easy. Thank you!

Luxury in a beautiful location.

This is a luxury villa presented in immaculate condition. The setting sets it apart from many other properties in the area. The unrestricted sea views and the southern outlook make it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The quality of the accommodation is outstanding and the many terraces and the beautiful pool make outdoor living a delight. Although the villa is in a wonderfully quiet area it is well located for access from Alicante airport. There are a number of shops and restaurants nearby and you are only 20 minutes by car from the big shopping complex at Benidorm. We have rented in this area for several years now and this is undoubtedly the finest property we have experienced.

Breathtaking views

Absolutely stunning villa. Decor and furnishings to a very high standard. The views were amazing even purchased some binoculars to watch the world go by and managed to also see dolphins which was a bonus. The villa had everything needed for a wonderful holiday if I was to say anything negative it would be the 33 stairs to reach the floor from the pool with a bathroom. The first floor above the pool only has access to outdoor seating area and entry to the house into the utility room. The second floor has a beautiful open plan kitchen dinner and living space with a further outdoor dinning area. The beds were super comfortable which is a bonus! Anja the housekeeper was wonderful. There are two local restaurants and a small store in walking distance to the property which we used on a couple of occasions. El Campello is approx 12 mins drive and has an array of bars and restaurants and a lovely beach area. Spanish supermarket and Aldi is also very close by but a car is needed.

Spacious and Private

We are 3 couples who enjoyed this villa for 2 weeks. Liesbeth (owner) and her local property manager, Anja, were very responsive and anxious to please. Although situated among other homes, this villa is very private and has a spectacular view of the sea. The kitchen is larger than it appears in the photos and has a good working area. We enjoyed all of our meals on the terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. The main floor bedroom is comfortable and traditional. The 2 main upstairs bedrooms are a good size and have direct access to an upper deck. A couple of comfortable loungers on this level would be nice. The third upstairs bedroom is smaller and does not have an ensuite. The pool is large and the lounging area comfortable. The villa is a great base to explore Costa Blanca, with many sights and experiences within an hours drive. We have rented high end villas in other European countries and Villa Felipe ranks among the best.

The property is amazing with beautiful views, also very quite.

we arrived on a Sunday when all local supermarkets are closed and was surprised that there wasn't a welcome pack it's the first time that we have arrived at a Villa who didn't supply one also a car was stolen from the villa across the road which unnerved us, the curtains in the sitting room are very nice but don't close I would liked to close them at night. the high chair supplied was in poor condition so we had to buy one as i could not put my Grandchild into it as it was dirty and very rusty we also had a lot of problems with the pool and could not use it some day's, also the electric was a problem as it went of if we put the cooker on or hair dryer I would like to mention the gentleman who looks after the pool is a Gentle man and very helpful, Anla was also very helpful apart from the problems we would like to use the Villa again as we loved the location and the Villa kind regards Mrs Dolores Sawrij

Dear Dolores First of all, thank you very much for your review. I like to give a correct response. First of all, we give to all our guests a good bottle of wine, knowing that the small supermarket at Pueblo Acantilado is open on sunday (at walking distance). For your safety, we provided you the electric system to put your car inside. Concerning the high chair, I will call my housekeeper and arrange a new one if it's necessary... There were problems with the heating of the pool, the first day. Our gardener arranged a technician for tuesday to solve the problem and I gave you a discount of 100€ for the inconvenience. The electric was also arranged by our gardener but was caused by the fact that you used all the aircos in the full house on a temperature of 16 degres... Finally I would like to mention that we proposed to give you clean sheets and towels every week for free. When you left, Anja send me a lot of pictures to show how dirty the villa was... She needed to send cushons, dekbeds, curtons, ... to the drycleaning. There were spots of pen in our new sofa. Furniture was mooved from one level of the house to the other. Covers of decoration cushons were disappaered... The use of electricity was extremely high! I have to ask you gently to use another villa in future. We only accept guests who show the necessary respect for our property. Best regards Liesbeth

Very nice property in a great location and generally in good condition

We went as a group of eight adults and the property was ideal but for one thing. It is advertised as four bedrooms, three with double beds and one with two single beds however it doesn't tell you that the single beds are inseparable bunk beds which was a big disappointment but we managed. We had a few other disappointments in that the pool heating could not be turned up as it tripped the electricity out and the water pump broke down so we could not shower or flush toilets for half a day. That said these are unfortunate occurances and the response to sorting out these problems from the owner, housekeeper and gardener/handyman was excellent. The failure of the electrics and water don't reflect on the overall condition of the property which was excellent. We would return to the property ( if the single bunkbeds were replaced by either a double or separate singles) and recommend it to our friends without hesitation.

Dear guest First of all, thank you for your review. I will try to take advantage of your concern! From now on, I will clearly explain on the website that the 4 th room has bunk beds and not separate single beds to avoid misunderstandings. Also our truly sorry for the problems with the water system (on a sunday). As you know, I did everything to solve the problem as soon as possible but on a sunday it's not so easy to find a solution... Concerning the heating of the pool, I decided that in winter I can not longer give garanties for the pool temperature because everything depends on the weather at night and the wind. Villa: As described. Very clean. Comfortable and includes everything required. Lots of space and great exterior facilities. Pool area is very nice and overlooking the ocean. Well maintained villa. 1 room on main floor, other 3 rooms are seperate, have their own bathroom and can be access from exterior only. All rooms very clean and welcoming. Location: Cosy, quiet and in a secure residential neighbourhood. Offers fantastic views of the ocean from everywhere. Don't forget your camera! Close to El Campello, Alicante, Benidorm, Altea. Easy to get to from airport. Car is required to get around. Services: Booking process was easy; owner answered all questions and assisted in all the steps. Friendly housekeeper (Anja) is there to welcome upon arrival and explain everything about the villa to be known during the stay. Activities: Alicante - Shopping / Restaurants Benidorm - Great beach / Attraction park Terra Mitica / Restaurants Valencia - Charming spanish city - City tour in touristic bus is a great way to see everything Visit of Enrique Mendoza winery very nice and intereting Driving along road N-332 up to Calp city just to enjoy the view Recommended: Yes!

All we had hoped for!

Villa Felipe was all we had hoped for and more! The photographs was beautiful and before we travelled we were afraid that it wouldnt be as beautiful as the pictures - but in reality it was even better. The house is beautifully furnished and the rooms upstairs must recently have been renovated. Every room have amazing wiews. We travelled six adults, three children and one baby. When we arrived there was a baby chair and a baby travel bed waiting in our room. We payed extra for warming the pool and it was really warm, around 30 degrees celcius. The pool area is really beautiful. There are two different places outside where you can eat, one beside the grill, both with the amazing wiew over the sea. Its good to have a rental car, because the supermarkets on a walking distance is smaller and more expensive. There are several supermercados six to eight km from the house. When you are tired of the pool you can always go to the beach near El Campello. Thankyou Liesbeth for renting your house to us, i hope you had an amazing stay yourself after we had left - and could enjoy the cava we left as a thankyou. We are already thinking about renting the villa again sometime and talking to our friends here in Sweden about our holiday. So I guess you will see more swedish rental guests in the future...

Lovely Villa

Had to be in this area for a family wedding at a nearby hotel so this property was ideal. We were met on arrival by Anya who showed us around and how everything worked. There was no welcome pack apart from a bottle of wine but no problem as we just went up the supermarket and got everything we needed and were back within an hour. The property itself is magnificent and is probably one of the best villas we saw in that area and the brochure photos show it exactly as it is. The whole villa was very clean and the pool area and pool were spotless and all was obviously very well looked after. There are plenty of glasses, plates cups, cutlery etc and all of good quality. All of the furnishings were also of very good quality and very comfortable. The views are magnificent and looked at the sunrise and sunset from the terrace. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect for our visit although if it had been bad there is not a lot going on in that area but if you have a rental car then El Campillo is only a few minutes drive and you can get the tram to Alicante if you need to do some serious shopping. Also the nearby hotel the El Pueblo Acantilado has several restaurants and bars and is only a 10 minute walk so does provide a change of surroundings. We have only a couple of minor criticisms. There were 5 of us in our group and we only had one bath size towel each along with 2 small hand towels. This not enough if you have your morning shower then a swim as the towel is very wet so another bath towel per guest would be better. Also the pool lounger cushions were on their last legs. They are very thin and stained with the straps broken. There were also only 4 of them which is of no use for 5 people. These need to be changed as soon as possible as they are not up to the standard of the rest of the property. Another rather odd thing and may not be to everyone's taste is that the en suite shower rooms are open into 2 of the bedrooms but seems to be quite a popular thing on the continent. All I all though a superb place to have a break in the sun and at a reasonable price and we would certainly return and recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in this area

Why they chose this property

From the first moment we saw the villa, we fell in love! It was in 2000. During the years, we changed a lot for our own use: we put a swimmingpool, new terraces, a carport for the safety, new furniture and last but not least, winter 2019-2020, we fully renovated the living area and the kitchen, the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs!

What makes this property unique

Everywhere in the house you have perfect seaview! It gives such a great feeling of freedom and peace... you have to live it to really believe....
