This is an immaculately clean, beautifully renovated property with new appliances in a very quiet part of Des Moines, stayed 3 nights on our trip to the Iowa State Fair, very walkable to the Fairgrounds, perfect to avoid the traffic and parking. We enjoyed the quiet space on the deck off the master bedroom in the morning and evening. In the event that we’re ever back in Des Moines again, I would absolutely book again. I had originally booked 2 nights, and when plans changed, the host was able to accommodate an extra day, had great, prompt communication and check in was a breeze.

What a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for our quick trip to Iowa. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and the home is clean, decorated beautifully with plenty of amenities. In addition, we had a small issue when we arrived, and the owner responded immediately and was a pleasure to work with.

This home was perfect for our family visiting for the Iowa State Fair! It was updated, clean, and had all the things you'd need to be comfortable. Plus it was within walking distance of the fair! Highly recommend!

I did not see a hot tub. I also don’t recall that being included in the listing. The host made herself available from the beginning and set clear, simple expectations. The property was exactly what we needed after a day of volleyball tournaments. There was a big checkerboard set out for family fun during downtime. Spacious enough for the 6 of us!

Beds were a bit soft for my taste. No laundry was a bummer but we managed. Had to hit the laundromat because we only 4 towels and that was unexpected. I just assumed it would have washer dryer. No mat on master bed. Will double check next time we travel. Nice that we were close to fairgrounds. Oh, Didn't see an ironing board. Had a good stay overall.

Linda was a great host. We had a wonderful experience! She was an absolute breeze to work with—friendly, responsive, and very accommodating. Communication was easy from start to finish, and everything was just as described. We really appreciated how smooth and stress-free the whole experience was. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this host!

We appreciate quiet environment of the house especially at night and house was very clean. Smell fine everywhere. Owner was very communicative too :)There is no washer or dryer at this house but laundromat were everywhere close by, which was about 10 for large loads of laundry. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

The house was so clean! Communication with the host was great. We had everything we needed for cooking. The only minor issue was neighbors were setting off fireworks pretty late into the night both nights. (A week before the 4th) We had to be up very early but definitely not the host’s fault.
