This trip was for my husband's 50th birthday. There were 9 adults in our group and the house had everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable!! This is of high priority for our group as the guys are mostly retired military with back pain. The house was very nicely renovated especially the bathrooms. A few of the spaces were a little tight because it is a cute and quirky historic home, but that was part of the charm. There was still ample space for us to relax together and have fun. The host was very communicative and responded promptly to any questions. We didn't have any real problems during our stay and would come back again if we were in the area. Frankfort was definitely the best home base for our bourbon experience.
History meets luxury - we had an outstanding stay! Our multigenerational family enjoyed the large bedrooms and gathering areas. It was nice to have large gathering areas and opportunities for privacy, especially at night when the 11 month old and grandparents wanted to go to bed before other people.Downstairs there is a full bath and 3 bedrooms, a coffee maker, game room, sink, cupboards, and a full-size fridge. Upstairs is the full kitchen, another full-size fridge, laundry, living room and dining room. In addition, upstairs there are two primary suites with en-suite bathrooms and an extra half bath. We spent a lot of time in the upstairs enjoying the dining room and living room. The high chair was appreciated for the 11 month old baby. The window unit AC and room-exclusive AC units were great to keep each room seasonably comfortable, warmer during the day and cooler at night. The water pressure in the showers was outstanding.Everyone in our group commented on the comfort of the beds.Communication with Jordan was excellent; if we venture back to Frankfort I hope to stay here again!
From the hot tub/cold plunge to the lawn games, outdoor theater, fire pit and indoor games, there is so much for everyone to do without leaving the property. We were even able to watch 4th of July fireworks from the upper level porch! The house is big enough for everyone to be together and big enough so you don't have to be.Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels including extras for the hot tub. 2 full size refrigerators under counter beverage fridge. We loved the dining room table was big enough for everyone to eat together. The home being over 100 years old does have some quirks. The A/C unit in the game room is quite loud, but you can't hear it from the bedrooms. There are also some uneven floors and doors that don't fit quite right, but it has historic charm and is beautifully decorated. We had an enjoyable stay!
