Thank you so much for this lovely review—it truly made our day! We’re absolutely delighted that you had such a wonderful stay, and that the property felt spotlessly clean and just as you’d hoped. It’s always a joy to hear that our charming neighbors across the road (those sweet cattle!) brought an extra smile to your visit. 🐄💚
We’d love nothing more than to welcome you back someday soon—our door is always open for you!
Great place to unwind! Close enough to attractions if you wanted to venture to them but this place is so beautiful, tranquil, and recreational that if you want to just take it all in, bring your groceries and enjoy! We took advantage of the weekend, fished, explored, and relaxed - which is typically hard for us.

This house is exactly what we were looking for, quiet house in the country with not to long of a drive for activities. The creek wasnt high so it was great for exploring. The cows across the way were great for hanging outside and watching with your coffee in the morning. Quiet area with a beautiful scenery. The house was extreamly clean when we arrived and well put together. The air hockey table was a favorite of the kids! The family did not want to leave and were talking about other things to go back for just to stay here again.Really great stay!

Dear Brooke,
Thank you for your excellent review. We are pleased to hear that the property met your expectations for a quiet countryside retreat with convenient access to activities. It’s great to know you enjoyed exploring the creek, observing the nearby cows, and were especially glad the air hockey table was a hit with the children. We pride ourselves in the clean, well-maintained condition of the house and we thank your for sharing this information with other guest. We greatly appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you and your family back for another enjoyable stay.
Sincerely,
James
James was an amazing host who quickly responded to any questions we had and provided great information on logging in and the amenities and even provided a map of the property which included a fishing pond, an awesome clear creek that you could explore, cool off or fish in. It was so nice being out by ourselves where we could cook dinner on the gas grill or even smoke or charcoal a meal on the other provided smoker. Most of all it was great just to sit outside and enjoy the stars, all the sounds of the countryside, and relax. There are several places to eat and be entertained within 15 minutes without dealing with the Branson traffic. I highly suggest the farmers daughter café in Galena.. A wonderful drive from the property and incredible food for breakfast lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

This place was such a wonderful stay for our family. With three boys, from 8 y.o. to a teenager, this cabin had the best sleeping setup...what kid doesn't LOVE bunkbeds?!?! Our two younger ones loved it!! Plus my teenager got to have his own bed in the same space as well. Lots of space in the living area for card games in the evenings. The game room was a huge hit for the kids, and my husband and I used it in the morning for a quiet place to read and drink coffee. We loved watching the cows get their breakfast feed. The double decks were great places to nap outdoors, or to quietly watch the deer drink from the creek. But our favorite place to be was the swimming hole, under the waterfalls. We spent one entire day exploring the creek, looking for fossils, fish, crawfish. The water was crystal clear so the boys used their goggles to explore everything. The path to the swimming hole was easy to follow, and that is how we got there the first day. The days that followed, we walked the creek. Water shoes are a must-have to enjoy the full experience. It was glorious! The master bedroom upstairs was spacious and quiet. We were relieved to have so many fans in all of the rooms, and the split AC's were so quiet. It made for nice cool evenings when everything outside was so humid. Easy to find remote controls for everything. They really thought of it all. Grocery stores were a quick drive. Will absolutely stay again. Our kids preferred thi cabin and river over a hotel and pool any day.
