This property was awesome! The location and all of the amenities were perfect. If you want relaxation and a peaceful setting this is the place! The treehouse was beautiful inside and the large deck out front was a favorite. My kids enjoyed the fishing pond and especially the special greeter "Eddie" the white lab who hung out with us! We will definitely return if ever in the area!!

My son had a lacrosse tourney at DE Turf complex, this property is only 25 min which was perfect. It was so nice to have a very clean & comfortable place to stay nearby with a full fridge, washer/dryer, kitchen & the cutest porch to relax after a long day. Beds are extremely comfortable, linens soft, nice towels & living room furniture was super comfortable as well. This place is very tidy & very clean the host has provided little extras like bath salt, laundry pods, eye mask in freezer, coffee, coffee creamer in fridge with a couple waters too. Emma’s family restaurant nearby is a must for amazing home cooking. You can’t go wrong at Lyle’s Treehouse (which the host built in loving honor of her late husband).

My stay here was absolutely amazing. We were stunned even before we walked inside by the beauty of the property! We got to meet Eddie who is the absolute sweetest dog and the best one man housewarming committee. The house is gorgeous and cozy. I couldnt believe how big it actually is inisde, the space is utilized very well and the house was obviously built with love. I am so sorry to hear about Lyle but am so happy to see his dream continuing on through this lovely home! It was so comfortable and peaceful. We all were very comfortable and slept well. If we could've moved in and stayed forever we would! We really appreciated the amenities provided as well! There were toiletries provided and the linens felt professionally cleaned, I felt like I was staying at a Hilton! The house is very nicely tucked away but not so far that civilization is a trek. There are lots of great places to eat and attractions to see in the immediate area, and the host has some recommendations in the house for attractions as well in case you're unfamiliar with the area. Sydney communicated so well with us and was always a text away and the instructions are clear so we never felt in the dark. I cant say enough good about this property, we miss it already and cant wait to return! If you're looking and cant decide, look no further, this is the place for you!

Nestled amongst the holly and forest trees, this beautiful Treehouse was perfect for visiting nearby family and also as a getaway. It's cute, cozy, and quiet. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to stay comfortable. My favorite "amenity" was Eddie! He just rolls up and assigns himself as your bestest guard dog for a small fee of belly rubs.

I was born and raised in Sussex County, Delaware. My late husband had a dream of building a treehouse, similar to this. I am calling it "Lyle's Treehouse" in his memory. This is my first experience as a host; I'm excited to share this beautiful spot with you!
