We enjoyed our stay despite some bumps along the way. Some basics were missing - we only had 8 pillows even though we had a reservation for 12 people. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper in the whole house. Also, there was no microwave in the kitchen despite it being listed in the ad. However we let the host know and they brought 4 brand new pillows, a new microwave, and a large pack of tp within a few hours. We were disappointed that the living room looked nothing like the photos and had no couches or anywhere to lounge. Fortunately we packed beach chairs and used those. We were frustrated that there was no AC, even though the ad listed AC in 2 locations. When I asked the host about that they told me that no one in Monterey had AC. We had to buy 5 box fans to be comfortable. The good stuff about the property - great location, lots of potential, loved the yard! It was cozy and private with beautiful flowering bushes.
