We were visiting from out of town for a friend’s wedding, and this was the perfect stay. Close to so many gems, tucked away and cozy, and for a tiny cabin it was packed with all the things we would need. I really appreciated Jeremy’s prompt communication and friendliness in responding to all of my questions. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Rusty’s retreat. They had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. Very close to all the venues. The cottage very cozy, clean and comfortable. It rained all weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful yard, grill and fire pit. Hope to return again.

Our stay here was fantastic! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a weekend getaway. So many breweries and wineries within a short drive, as well as skyline drive near by. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy, tiny home. It was very clean and had all of your basic necessities. Communication with the host, Jeremy, was quick and precise. Location was perfect for us as we needed only to travel about 10 minutes in either direction to reach our favorite breweries. We will certainly look to stay again when we make our way thru the Nelson 151 Valley.

Perfect two day trip with my partner and pup. Perfect distance from Shenandoah and blue ridge parkway. Home had everything we needed - and the responsive host ensured that our needs were taken care of. Hope to be back!

The stay itself was nice - however the check-in process and communication from the host was incredibly poor. They use a property management company, and if I were them, I would really reconsider this because the lack of authentic interaction really showed.We arrived a few hours after our check-in time, and had received no check-in instructions from the host. We had to contact VRBO support and spent an hour on the phone getting the door code before we could enter the property. We received no apology from the host, and it was clear that all the messages in the chat were just generic copy/pasted messages, rather than someone actually reading and responding to our concerns.

Insane. Literally none of her accusations are true. Look at our reviews. Guest arrived incredibly intoxicated/ altered and lost the check-in instructions that were sent to her automatically a week prior to check-in. Of course, in her very drunken state, she was confused, so we provided the instructions again despite the profanities and vulgar language she used. We thought about turning her away, but she was in no condition to drive, so we made an exception. No good deed goes unpunished. We don't use a property management company either.
