We had an amazing time spending Christmas in Orlando. We were a bit scared about renting homes and it not being like the photos, but everything was perfect and as shown! The home had a lot of character and was well put together in an absolutely lovely neighbourhood. The Christmas tree in the home really completed the season for us, being able to place our presents. The area is close to most attractions and convenient. The only recommendation I would have is to update the beds as one of them in particular was very squeaky and sinked, so it was uncomfortable to sleep on.

To start off with, there was a miscommunication with the host. I asked for an additional day be added to the stay, this was refused due the property no longer being available. I misunderstood the response that the host provided to the request 1 month after I requested it. I understood that the property was still available but not taking any additional reservations. My reservation was still ok. That was not the case. I take responsibility for not clarifying and just assuming. The host still requested the balance for the reservation even though the property was not available. I paid the balance. He then requested I call him less than a week before our trip, which I did. He told me that property was not available, but did offer an alternative property. He refused to refund my money. I accepted the alternative, having no other choice, only to be met with a bed bug infestation. The host did come to the property within a few minutes to see for himself. He did refund our money, after apologizing. Our only option was to get 2 hotel rooms, due to the party we were traveling with, which cost us twice the amount of the 4 bedroom house with a pool.
