“Our Happy Place” is a 1000 sq foot, 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with new owners continuing the rental of this highly sought after property. Located on the shore of beautiful Lake Thompson within the well-maintained Pinewood Condominiums. Only steps away from a sandy beach with a gentle slope to the water and full view of the lake (only 75 ft from the water). Dock space included. Four kayaks for your use (no charge). Make this your winter getaway and access snowmobile and ATV trails from the property or enjoy ice fishing, snow shoeing, sledding, and skiing. Warm up with our forced air heat after a day on the trails.

Home comes fully furnished (full kitchen including a standard refrigerator plus a beverage refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot plus individual Keurig, and complete cookware), large open concept kitchen, dining area, and living room with windows and patio door to private wrap around deck overlooking the lake. 3 spacious bedrooms: 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed (twin over full), and 2 twin beds. Sleeps up to 7. Other amenities: Cable TV, Free High Speed Internet, Central Air. Available for rent throughout the year.

Lake Thompson is a 400 acre Class A Musky lake just east of Rhinelander with Northern, Walleye, Largemouth bass, Smallmouth bass, and plenty of pan fish. Fish cleaning house on site. Enjoy fishing from the dock or head out onto the 3 bays and 3 islands of Lake Thompson. Public boat landing is a short distance.

Patio table seating 6 with lighted umbrella (additional chairs on patio) is the perfect setting to enjoy the amazing lake views and enjoy the call of the loons on the lake or to watch the eagles nesting on the nearby island. Fall colors are incredible. Variety of games and puzzles provided. Firepit with complimentary firewood for your enjoyment.

Our Happy Place will be YOUR Happy place when you get away from it all in the relaxing Northwoods cottage. You will also have the convenience of shopping, emergency health services, restaurants, and recreational opportunities within five minutes.

Lake Thompson's five bays and three islands are both picturesque and perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and exploring. You truly enjoy being "Up North" while enjoying the convenience of all that nearby Rhinelander has to offer.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is part of a family friendly resort and has lots of indoor and outdoor space. The southern exposure provides lots of sunshine throughout the day. Guests rave about the cleanliness, open living space, and large elevated deck in addition to having a view of the lake from almost anywhere in the cottage. The sand beach has a large swimming area and raft. Fall offers warm days, cool nights and beautiful colors. Winter enthusiasts love the access to snowmobile trails and ice fishing right out our doorstep.
