About this property
Broad Ripple Urban Flower Farm Bungalow - Cozy 2BR Near Downtown Indianapolis
Stay in a piece of Indianapolis history at our 1915 bungalow in Broad Ripple’s SoBro neighborhood. This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath home blends vintage charm with modern updates and offers something rare in the city — a seasonal urban flower farm right in the backyard. Depending on the season, you may catch rows of blooms from the porch or patio, making your stay both relaxing and memorable.
Step through the front door to find original hardwood floors and a brick fireplace anchoring the inviting living room. Settle in with a movie on the Roku TV, curl up on the couch, or pick a board game or puzzle from the cabinet for a family night in. French doors open to the dining room, where a table for four is perfect for meals, remote work, or simply gathering together. A welcome table and guest book provide local recommendations to help you explore Indy with ease.
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with cookware, modern appliances, a drip coffee maker and French press, and thoughtful basics like oil and spices. Just off the kitchen, the remodeled bathroom features a spacious shower and fresh toiletries.
When it’s time to rest, the front bedroom offers a queen bed and closet, while the back bedroom includes a queen bed, built-in dresser, walk-in closet, and cozy reading nook. Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable linens, extra blankets, and room-darkening shades for restful sleep.
Outdoor spaces are a highlight of the home. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch as the neighborhood wakes up, or spend evenings on the backyard patio with seating for four around the fire pit. In season, you’ll have views of our flower farm just beyond the fence. A washer and dryer in the basement make longer stays convenient.
Families will appreciate children’s dinnerware and the stocked game cabinet. Business travelers will find reliable Wi-Fi and a comfortable dining table for working from home. Everyone benefits from the location — walk to SoBro dining, coffee shops, and local bars, or take a quick drive to Broad Ripple Village, Butler University, the Indiana State Fair Grounds, the Children’s Museum, Lucas Oil Stadium, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and the Indiana Convention Center. Downtown Indianapolis is about 10 minutes away, and the airport is an easy 25-minute drive. Free street parking is almost always available, though not guaranteed directly in front of the house; a bus stop is just a block away, and rideshares are plentiful.
Our Broad Ripple bungalow offers historic character, modern comfort, thoughtful touches, and the unique bonus of an urban flower farm. In season, guests may even have the chance to cut a bouquet from our flower farm — a one-of-a-kind Indy experience. Whether you’re visiting Indianapolis for family, fun, or business, we look forward to welcoming you.
